Comparing LeBron to him is crazy. This man was a human machine at work. Only person to even come close to him is Kobe. Point blank period! Great video bro. Glad these vidoes are around to show people that never seen how great he was and not just a myth.

Let's be honest. The league as a whole is getting better. Basketball is more global and it is a serious business since it attracts so much capital and viewership. However, MJ is just one of a kind. Just a unique talent. It is really unfair because no one can even match him just on talents alone. The explosiveness of his first step, the touch around the rim, the size of his hand, the body to absorb contacts, the body coordination and the insane competitiveness. Let alone he also worked extremely hard to perfect his skills and footwork. Players today can work just as hard or even more but cannot even be close to what MJ is capable of doing. That's why Jordan's highlight is so exciting because no one else can do what he does.

劉政諺 - getting better than what. Bigger in terms of money and much larger commercial impact doesn't make a better product- in txt, corporate money usually reduces overall quality in any industry including the NBA in some ways. Today's game is prettier because the rules have changed so much, or specifically so many rules have been added, that it is impossible to play aggressive defense which allows today's players to run full speed unimpeded to the basket. And foul calls have nearly doubled since MJ's day which inflates scoring averages which is why so many think the game is better now, which it is not. This in turn makes players now want to play defense and not care until the playoffs. This is not better basketball. Also, big money has created two or three Superteams and every other team doesn't even compete - countless teams are "tanking" and "rebuilding" which makes overall competition almost nonexistent today. In MJ's day, there were many good teams in both conferences and intense rivalries between numerous teams existed - this is unimaginable today. This is not better basketball and not better NBA. It is simply larger and more commercial but not nearly as good of an overall product.

Boogie Loo uh there were more fouls called when MJ played. In every era except the 70s (the worst decade for ball) there was 1-3 teams that dominated. Bulls were favored to win because they had great teams especially the 2nd three peat. Tanking and Rebuilding but the 90s has expansion teams though watered down the product, something Bird commented on.

I doubt that, but he is the GOAT and his basketball was unbelievable to the point that there may never be anyone like him ever again, which is rare because in almost all things there is some evolution, and also recency bias,where current people start thinking someone newer the GOAT or better than they are because they're the one that's playing or played more recently. MJ was just so unbelievable that it will be interesting to see if that ever happens with him.

Steph Curry The G.O.A.T So wit that asinine ass comment your saying in a league where they don't play any defense anymore at least not consistently. And where the floor is wide open that a player this ultra aggressive and that skilled and that phenomenal on defensive end of the floor. Would basically be DeMar Derozian in today's NBA?...
@stephcurrytheg.o.a.t
@stephcurrytheg.o.a.t 6 лет назад
Ahmad2423 yes dumbass and if u put those Bulls in today's league they wouldn't have no space, cause they wouldn't be able to stretch the floor. You act like the paint is was locked up all 48 minutes MJ played. The paint was open a lot back then and the only reason why it was clogged was cause guys couldn't shoot or stretch the floor Also MJ was never better than Wilt. And LeBron, KD, Wade, and Kobrick passed MJ already

Dwight Caliao Well said Sir, but it's not his fault. I blame the media because their the one's obsessed with stats so now he actually believes that if he's the greatest statistical player of All-time. That's gonna make him the greatest player Of All-time...Sad but the media is to blame for this not LeBron.
@Shottamanrambo

Agree Lebron is my favorite player...and he won't be better than Jordan....nor do I think anyone will be for at least the next 30 years especially since the physical play will continue to diminish, and a big part of Jordan's legacy was scoring 30+ daily in the most physical eras. Personally I have a hard time picturing Lebron in the future (like 10 years) give an interview where he puts himself above Jordan...honestly I feel he will give Jordan his regards and be quiet about it. If he would say publicly that he feels he is better than Jordan, than he is just being a dick lmao

Lòs Padrè - it's laughable that's you think you can rate defense based on the offensive highlights of a player. If you understood the game at all, you'd realize that a player's offensive highlights are naturally the defensive lowlights of the opposite team. These are the possessions that MJ in this case, broke down the defense. How do you not realize something so obvious? And all it takes is to do some research. - Do you not understand how much the rules have been changed to allow easy scoring at the hoop? - Don't you recognize how everyone in these videos is standing in the paint defensively as opposed to today's spread defense because you're forced out of the paint every 3 seconds today. - Don't you recognize how many more free throws they shoot today since any little contact is deemed a foul? - Most obviously, don't you realize that scoring is at an unprecedented high today with teams regularly scoring 130, 140 points and above? - Meanwhile, in the 90's you rarely scored above a hundred points and if you did, you were almost always going to win. This was especially so in the Eastern Conference where defense was really gritty and physical. Clearly you know nothing about the game of basketball. Stop thinking talk shows are a place to learn the game - they're trying to misdirect fans and createe narratives for the sake of money - this is obvious at this point. You're embarrassing yourself.

If he where to play in today's game he would average 30 pts. on free throws alone because of how the refs blow their whistle now a days. Another thing is the no handchecking in today's game. Plus there is almost no travelling called, imagine that. :D
