Nope it happens. Proof that just because he *used* to play a character doesn't mean he can always easy beat them. In the hands of a skilled player any character can be scary whether he knows the MU or not. That's why top players still get upset. They have a ton of knowledge but the real way to win is by applying it. If you can't apply it consistently then you ain't winning anything easily.

With Roy you basically can't space at all and if you do you get sours despite the sweetspot priority. He's the anti-swordie. I really don't like playing him because I hate how close I have to get and risk getting hit. He's so volatile
Sour spots have nothing to do with it, Roy wins the mu. Maybe he just isn't comfortable in the mu playing from this side. It is online, as already noted.
