MLB- Amazing plays! Here are what i think are great plays from the 2010 and 2011 major league baseball season! Please like and comment on what I need to fix so I know next time. Thanx!
I agree... I am a girl, surrounded by people who are all about football, my sister plays handball, I never cared for any sport in my life... Then for some reason (probably seen too many american movies,,,) I got hooked on baseball and I can't get enough of it!! So interesting, so exciting and complex! LOVE IT! :)
I'm waiting for the day when I find someone that is as passionate about the sport of baseball as I am. It feels sometimes that I'm the only one who sees the skill required and the beauty of the game.
After 3 years of college ball, 5 years of the minors I can say that I agree. Greatest times of my life. I won't deny that it can be boring sometimes, but also it is never the same game twice. So many situations. As John Kruk once said, "I'm not an athlete, I'm a baseball player.". always makes me smile.
Yes like beingzacefron said...plus baseball has the most mechanical factors than any other sport. every little detail on every little thing you do is important in baseball.
Yes and you also go into the records books throwing a perfect game. Anything in soccer thats as rare as a perfect game or maybe a no-hitter or even a cycle, no I didn't think so
Personally, I love watching both. I think baseball more explosive in term of action (just like cricket, love that too) but football/soccer is an adrenaline shooter should the action continuously, talking about continuous sprinting, dribbling and shooting. I think baseball got a huge potential, I wonder why it never get popular to other countries other than america and japan/korea/china/taiwan. It should got worldwide exposure.
That play the Cubs made against Dan Uggla was particularly interesting because he was on a 32 game hitting streak at the time and that would have extended it. Instead, he was robbed of TWO hits in that game and the streak was over.
Well Rugby Union is a great sport too. You need to be smart to know if you should enter the ruck or mall, need the skills of tackling and passing the ball, and you need a lot of power if you want to be a forward. Coming from an Aussie who is a big Baseball fan.
Soccer/football: It's about teamwork and chemistry between players on the field. Skills, stamina, sprinting and power are required equally. Also, using your feet to dribble the ball require years of training. Baseball: It's about teamwork and chemistry between players on the field. Skills, sprinting and power are required equally. Throwing the curve ball, fork ball definitely take years of training also. It's quiet most of the time but when the action rolling in, it's explosive.
