Mochi Donut
Sticky Dough
3 tbsp Glutinous Rice Flour
3 tbsp Milk
1. Mix the glutinous rice flour and milk in a bowl. Microwave for 10 seconds first and mix, repeat this for 2-3 times until the mixture comes together.
Main Dough
180 grams Glutinous Rice flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
Pinch of salt
30 grams Butter (melted)
90 grams Milk
1 egg
1. In a bowl add milk, melted butter, egg, salt and baking powder. Mix the ingredients.
2. Add in the glutinous rice flour.
3. Mix until it forms into a dough.
4. Knead the dough on a clean table top.
5. Roll the dough into a long log and divide into 8 pieces.
6. Take a piece of the dough and roll again into small log. Cut it into 8 pieces.
7. Using your palm ball the dough. Place them on a small piece of paper to form a circle shape. Repeat until you have 8 donuts.
8. Fry the donut until it’s golden brown.
*Optional flavour Cinnamon Sugar and Sugar Glaze
Cinnamon Sugar
4 tbsp Fine Sugar
1-2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
Sugar Glaze
1 cup Powder Sugar
3-4 tbsp milk or water
