actually, Ansel was the name of Isaacs' adopted brother who died in an avalanche 3 years after Isaac last saw him.

yeah, this was a massive disappointment. might be a cliche to even say this, but i think they've gone downhill since after the moon and antarctica. it's like their music somehow lost it's extremely authentic soul-crushing existential weight. i can't even put into words what exactly lead to them losing their punch, but they seem like a shadow of their former selves now.

Sugar Boats may be one of my favorite MM songs. I understand why some parts like the piano feel really out of place, but for me it adds a character

the album is actually really growing on me, The Ground Walks, With Time In A Box is now becoming one of my favorites from it as well as sugar boats and lampshades on fire of course, I think the album fits well in there discography and I'm happy to have it

Doesn't mention the very cool theme of these lyrics, doesn't mention the great tracks like be brave, best room, and focuses on the bad only... And coyotes is fucking amazing lol
