Father William Skudlarek, OSB from Saint John’s Abbey in Collegeville, MN was recently asked by the interreligious office in the Vatican, if he would be willing to produce a 5 minute video talking about the value of participating in interreligious / intermonastic dialogue.
Fr William and I did a 150 mile pilgrimage / walk in Minnesota about 16 years ago and we have given several talks about that experience. Fr William asked if I would be willing to film and present something about that experience.
We have the idea that I might try to visit Saint John’s again and possibility reenact some of the pilgrimage and interview a few of the people we met along the way. If we did that, it would probably end up being a 30 minute long documentary. This short video is what we presented to the Vatican to see if they liked our idea.
