I think Gogmazios would be perfect for this new expac, especially with the rampage mode. Dude was super built for busting through tower defense. Top picks for returns would be fatalis (crimson and white especially), gore (chaotic and shagaru), brachydios, and zamtrios. I was rooting for agnaktor, but it looks like magma almudron might take his niche

There's never been a final boss elder dragon (except 3 Fatalis, Alatreon and Amatsu) returning in a new MH game (frontier and online exception). I don't think we'll see Yama, Ceadeus, Dire, Dalamadur, Gogma, Nakar, Athal, Xeno and Safi in other games. Same for Ibushi/Narwa in next games

@@Siturba Yama has a chance......a bit but has a chance. Dire and Ceadeus most likely not since they're main gimmicks were on water as well. Nakar and Athal might not be in (But athal prolly has a chance, it being an insect and fitting the wirebugs theme but it's still a small chance). Xeno and Safi most likely not. But aside from GU, you are right. Most final boss elders never make it in new MH games.

@@Siturba There’s a possibility given enough time. I don’t think it’s a matter of they never do it so much as the game has to be really old. (I’m not surprised Yama hasn’t returned, I don’t think there’s really any demand to revisit that fight. And the water fights won’t return unless they give water another try.)

I was thinking the same thing, that Magma Almudron will take the place of Agnaktor. It essentially does the same moves and even had a special “molten” state; which I’m assuming makes the creature easier to attack than in its “hardened” state

i think on twitter they announced they were gonna change the UI to be more easy to read (I don't remember well the details cause google translate). also for those wondering about the flash things, they also showed on twitter an option to diminish that lighting so you can see and not go blind (DB players can now see)

@@Yusei255 I think it’d heavily depend on the weapon and the new skills they introduce. Some weapons just have skills you’d never use over their alternative. Or skills that don’t necessitate swapping on the fly because they’re more a playstyle choice than a situational choice.

I'm just happy they finally added characters that actively assist you. They started it with Ace Cadet against Fatalis in MHW, then the Rampages, now they're just full NPC characters that help.

Nerscylla is highly likely, skeleton is pretty much done with Rakna. And the we can get a double spider quest 😁 Malted too is one of my favourite, would be good to see its return. I’m hoping for Seregios and the Magalas. Imagine a quest with Bazel and Seregios😛 scales…scales everywhere

It doesn't seem that there focusing on developing the rampage mode in the dlc which probably means this isn't going to happen, which is a shame because rampage could really use something like that to make it more desirable to play

Im honestly most exited for the New Switch skills! Its really cool that youre able to switch youre switch skills on the go because it will make the game just so much more fun to play and every hunt will be unique! Like imagine going from Sakura Slash, directly to Helmbreaker! Sunbreak is going to be soooo insanly awesome!

Exactly. Ppl see a few new mons/subspecies introduced and think that's all it'll have....smh lol. It's ALWAYS like this with every expansion released. They never show all of their cards early, plus it'll have free title updates as well adding even more monsters and newer features.

I'm hoping that if we get Lagi it's Ivory and not default Lagi, he really needs to be fought underwater to be good. I'd also like to see the return of Peco, as well as Rajang's Triple Blanka Ball. As for newcomers I want Great Boggi and a new crab or insect.

I think it's pretty clear we will not see agnaktor. They took the easy way and made almudron red and somnacath ice so they don't need to add agnaktor and zamtrios.

I'm just concerned that they may decide to leave Agnaktor out because they resemble eachother thematically. I do hope I'm wrong though, if we can have 3 mud monsters in the same game we can definitely have 2 magma monsters. Same reason I still hope for Gigginox to return, that one can absolutely coexist with Khezu.

From seeing the ability of magma almudron and lunagaron, this monster maybe the precursor for upcoming free title update to add zamtrios and agnaktor because of the similarity of the frozen state and when almudron become more red when digging through lava

Pretty happy to see some of the features tweaked. While it never bothered me personally, I remember hearing about how people disliked that the game would have you wait out the stun animation for wyvern riding before you could attack again. Being able to wall run from normal running is also an unexpected but not unwelcome change.

The follower guest is literally a Frontier feature, and the moveset change is objectively better than Extreme style, at this point if the difficulty doesn't follow, I don't even know anymore On another note, the fact you can choose to not ride the monster is insane and shows they are actually either listening or know about the game's problems, so there is hope
