Monsters, Inc. Scream Team - PS1 vs. PS2 | Side by Side 

I played it on PS1, didn't know it was also released on PS2. I personally don't like the darker palette color of the PS2 version.

I remember playing the PS1 version, It's interesting seeing the PS2 version, I guess it'd make sense to be darker since it's supposed to be a monster training facility, but the PS1 version reminds me a lot more of the movie's brightness.

Did this game sort of foreshadowed Monsters University?

I lost my pc copy of the game some 9 years ago . I used to play this for hours on end even if the game is not that good to be honest , I loved the soundtrack too .

I swear the ps1 version had much better graphics when I was a kid

I had this game on pc, I never knew there was a ps2 version

so the PS2 version runs more fluently but has much darker colour, the PS1 is just a bit choppier but has brighter and livid palette..

I prefer the PS1 version. Easier on the eyes with its brightness.

It's a shame the PS2 version is so dark, if it had matched the vibrancy and brightness of the PS1 it would look so dang good

I use to have one on the PS2 when I was a little girl. Unfortunately I didn’t have the game anymore. Except I ordered one off eBay which it be coming to me soon. A PS2 version just like the one that I use to have in the past. Which my PS2 still works today.

The PS1 graphics are much more charming & fit much better with the movie's aesthetic & art style, imo.

I had the PS1 version back in the day and I’m not massively nostalgic towards it but I do want to pick up the game again, it’s just a case of deciding which version. I prefer the PS1 look but the PS2 has better models and frame rate.

Holy Crap look at different between PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 Graphic. I never got it on PlayStation 2..I got it on PlayStation 1 It was my childhood favourite it take me back in 2001. Surprise 😮 moment on this cutscene it mention references about what happened in college 0:26 that how prequel film "Monster University" begin to mention in story. Monster University released in 2013..I didn't realise in cutscene mention it. It good for Pixar decide to made prequel for Monster Inc. There storyline between Monster University to Monster At Work. 1. Monster University (2013) 2. Monster Inc. Scare Island (2001) 3. Monster Inc. (2001) 4. Monster At Work (2021)

Didnt know this game had a PS2 version until about a year ago or so. PS2 models look better but man, all the colors look so washed out compared to PS1.

you are using an emulator for ps1 you should do out of box footage

Deleted my earlier comment, apologies. Genuinely thought the PS2 port couldn't be that dim until I compared it to other footage of it, it really is that bad.

PS2 version has better models but the PS1 version has brighter colors and more expressive facial animations.

The PC version has the PS1 graphics which sucks, wish i could convert it to the PS2 graphics hah xD

sounds dumb but ps1 looks more lively and happy then the ps2. the ps2 looks overall better just darker and gloomier. in my opinion atleast.
