I like some ideas of the Portuguese Precious Plastic group very much. The PET woven sheets and the bike-powered crushing machine are perfect. I hope they follow the original philosophy and make everything Open Source with free plans available for everybody. Keep up the good work.

Dave, that place is going to get really cold, come winter. Agreed that each member of your army is inherently a 50W room-heater, but the room is really _really_ large. How do you plan to keep the force operational?

I've built an small CNC router machine, and have plans for install a plasma cutter on it and also to costruct a bigger one... so I think I'll be able to mill some molds, plasma cutter some pieces, etc. Fell free to contact me if you want any help or to come over and check my place in São Paulo or Carlopolis, Brazil. question: what if you shredder and use plastics with printed labels such as buko cream cheese for example. will the chemicals of the print affect the plastic quality? any suggestions?
