So I know everything in this show is a mess, but could you imagine if a volunteer actually sat on a patient's bed and tried to kiss them? They try and play off Kit as serious, knowledgeable, and trying very hard to be seen as professional but then have her engage in some of the biggest violations of boundaries in a medical setting.

Why is a 10% mortality rate so scary for him? If you have a seemingly deadly disorder, I kinda like those odds. Had it been a 60% mortality rate, then I would understand the issue

It's kinda like the anti vaxxer mentality now that I think about it. Willing to take their chances with the well documented and sometimes sizeable mortality and complication rates of various communicable diseases but absolutely terrified and obsessed with the exceptionally low rates of injury and death related to getting vaccines. In that way his character might be one of the more believable things about the show.

When I was fourteen I had to save up and give my dad $30 to replace our keyboard. It was the late '90's and NO liquids were allowed near the precious internet. I spilled a soda. What kills me is that Kit is supposed to be portrayed as the one who actually wants to become a doctor and she is using thus volunteer program as like a stepping stone towards that. And yet she then breaks an ethics code by trying to kiss a patient. Also, I think it would have been better to try and sell us on the whole "I dont know if I want this surgery" plot line if the risk was bigger. Didnt they say it was like 96% success rate?

I’m offended by Holden, I actually have a hole in my heart (ToF) and it’s a very serious condition that would have probably killed him before the age of 2 if his parents didn’t know about it. Also fainting can be a symptom, but he would most likely being losing a lot of oxygen and his lips would go blue. His heart surgery isn’t a choice, it’s a gift that he should thankful for because he’s alive

Yeah my mom's little brother died at a little over 2yrs old because he was born with a hole in his heart. This was in the mid 50s.. surgery ended up being over $50000 and he died not long after his surgery. Grandparents did everything they could. And now we got this dumbass kid on here saying "10% isnt good enough... ugghh this show is so dumb! Thank God for Nick and his great comedic timing and hilarious come backs to what they are saying on this show make it sooo worth watching! BTW... wishing you good health

There are many kinds of congenital heart defects. Some kinds of "holes" are not really all that serious and are even asymptomatic. They vary significantly in severity depending on what kind of defect and how large it is. Saying "his parents would have noticed" is not necessarily correct. And no, not all types of "holes in the heart" cause you to turn blue.

I feel like the show creators are trying sooo hard to model the dialogue style after shows like Gilmore Girls or Secret Life of the American Teenager. Fast, sort of monotone dialogue. But with their awful acting and terrible delivery it just comes off as bad!!

Yh, like the reason the script writing style worked in Gilmore Girls was because Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel brought so much energy to it so it always seemed like natural ramblings and quick quips. This cast is just painful monotonous speaking. I can't even call it an attempt at acting more than just reading lines. 😂😂

i’m certain for a fact we are all completely more invested in nick’s clip breakdown series of attaway general than the actual version of attaway general!! it’s exclusively superior, funnier & more creative than the actual tiktok series. not to mention nick is literally just sitting in ONE spot the entire time, being more entertaining than they could ever be. no shade on the tiktok creators but nick is superior & we’re here for it 😂😂
