The 3/8" Extended Reach High Speed Ratchet will be an instant buy for me! I hope it takes advantage of the CP2.5 batteries (maybe it picks up more torque..) Either way, 35 ft-lbs is more than enough!

3/8" extended high speed ratchet is on my list. I've had the orginal fuel 3/8" for 3 years of rough use at the dealership, my 2nd favorite tool after my stubby fuel 3/8" impact!

I'm happy to see Milwaukee starting to look more into the automotive field. I get snap-on truck every week, but I only buy those tools if Milwaukee doesn't have it and or I plan on breaking it (talkin to you chisels, flat head screwdrivers (mini prybars) and other things)

It would be interesting to see how the rubber plug spark plug socket performs in cold weather. All mine (of various manufacturers) work fine in warm weather but when winter rolls around the rubber gets hard and won't let go. Because of that I've switched to magnetic spark plug sockets and never looked back. They work great. I'm surprised Milwaukee is even wasting their time with the rubber inserts when they also have the magnetic.

@1:17, 3.6 kw available in only 120 volt. If you need 240 volt for your welder, you’ll still need a gas generator. Alternatively, ECO- flow battery has a 240 Volt system that may have enough power for a small welder.

@@FusionBoost2.0 I couldn’t care less what type of cells they’re using as long as it winds up producing more power, which Milwaukee has a lengthy track record of doing with their batteries. Just because something is using 21700 cells doesn’t make it better than 18650s, there are a lot of different 18650s spec’d for different discharge rates. The point of my original comment was that Milwaukee continues to support and develop their already class-leading 12 volt platform better than anyone else.

You'll never see it in m12 though because their limited with the stem style. I’ve got a SnapOn 3/8 and Milwaukee 1/4 ratchet, both standard size. Been wanting the extended reach, and almost jumped on a deal a couple months back. Didn’t want to spend the money, so I passed. I’m thinking I might just wait and get the new ones. Not just because of the speed, but also because of the much smaller head. Plus, they’re really not much more expensive.

That's me with the extended 3/8 ratchet. I'm thinking of selling mine and waiting for the new one. But sometimes it's better to keep the old one as with all brand new stuff, you never know the small issues that come as they get mass produced for the markets.

As much of a Milwaukee fanboy I am sticker shocked... The price on the new stick light is insane. Recently purchased Astro 525SLC with inductive dual charger for $65. A second light was $47.00. Also has built in charge indicator. Will last long enough for me, before I leave it stuck to the bottom of a customers vehicle. The high speed extended ratchet is on my list!!!

Its in line with the Streamlight's stick lights. I think the worry about leaving the light on a customer's vehicle will solve itself because you'll think about the $80+ light more than the $20 amazon one lol.

Any torque specs on that new smaller head long reach 3/8?

Torque is going to be low. Probably somewhere 30-35 ft/lbs. The high speed ratchets aren’t nut busters, but are meant for zipping off fasteners quickly. I’ve got the 3/8 high speed. Remember too you can use these as normal ratchets and when you’ve broken the fastener free zip it off. I think I’m going to get the 1/4” extended reach when they come out. Gives me a little more variety with the 3/8 standard length.

milwaukee needs to make an electric lug nut impacting torque wrench. like a T wrench thats also an impact, it can be pre set to different lug styles, and be able to seat a lug nut (like 20 lb lower than target) on the wheel then switch to torque wrench mode and allow the user to hamd torque to precision. basically a big boy M18 version of the one key brushless torque wrench in M12

If you think torque sticks are silly, or want a fancy alternative, Snap On sells 3-4 stubby torque sticks, about 6 inch long. Never got one myself but want it.

They are 18650 high density cells allowing them to output more and last longer.

@@Shoptoolreviews they don't output more, they only last longer. LG HD2 already put out 25A and Milwaukee has used them in XC 4.0 for years. Samsung 25S is rated the same CDR. Samsung 20S can do 30A, so if Milwaukee switched any of their M12/M18 2.0/4.0 packs to those then those are also "high output" if you apply the marketing used here.

21700s are too space inefficient to work in the M12 form factor. Only 1 21700 can fit in the handle where there would normally be 3x 18650s. By the time you create a 3 cell 4.0 Ah battery you end up with a pack that's about the same size as the existing XC 4.0 but has inferior discharge rates on top of it. XC 4.0 with LG HD2s could already output 50A. A 1P array of 3x 4.0 Ah Samsung 40T maxes out at 35A.

if you wanna win costumers harts you have to listen then 1/2 cordless angle impact, life saver ! nice if they make brushless version ,maybe .cordless angle ratchet first generation the best.i dont need more speed or power i need go in to tide spaces!(snapon do the best in that niche!for long necks and 1/4 drives also) majority cars have no strait access to spark plugs so wobble extension comes handy but not that!that my two cents.

@@Shoptoolreviews my 18v drill would go in the wrong direction shortly after I bought it. My replacement has a bad chuck but it is a couple years old now. My 12v screw gun kept going into overload protection on the first use then went up in smoke the second use. Then my replacement makes a grinding noise from the motor area like somethings rubbing. My rechargeable rover light had a bad battery then the light failed later. My 6.0 12v battery had the latch things break off so the battery won’t stay in. The plastic is too hard and brittle for what they using it on. I haven’t had any issues out of my 12v 1/4 impact so far I think it’s a second gen. Both of my 1/4” ratchets have been good. One is a 1st gen and one is a 2nd gen. My 18v 1/2” 2nd gen impact has been good other than seeming to be a little weak.

@@johnbailey9682 Maybe. When it comes to tires in particular I thought pressure was all about the volume inside the tire. Since the volume of the tire doesn’t really change when weight is on it and thus the pressure inside doesn’t change, I’m not sure it would make any difference at all.

That's a great question. Milwaukee uses the "FUEL" in the name to let you know that is the best and most power product in their line. They may make many drill, impact, saw, grinder, etc. models, but the "FUEL" model will be the best and most expensive. They have M18 FUEL which is their 18-volt, and the M12 FUEL is their 12-volt tools. The "FUEL" label also ensures that you're getting a Brushless motor (more power and more efficient than brushed motors). I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
