Pulled for the 5000th time as usual, at least I wernt cuffed and nicked like the last times, but that's what they do when you record, they do their job properly.... to some extent.
I found out they put a section 59 on my car, had the car siezed and now they've put another on it. Also most likely has a drugs marker on it as In always searched for misuse of drugs for some reason, bare in mind I've not got a criminal record and have never bothered with drugs. I've made a few IOPC complaints too which I'm assuming they havnt taken lightly 😅
@@awelshcnt5479 I know, last 6 months I've been harassed non stop, arrested countless times and currently released under 4 investigations.... it really baffles my mind and all that money and resources that's been wasted but there allowed to carry on is shocking. It's why I started recording them, because if I don't, they threaten to smash my windows, pepper spray me, throw me in handcuffs, take me to be strip searched, put police dogs in the car, maybe seize the car like they have or end up arresting me for "obstructing police"....
What doesn't make sense is he said he stopped you because you took a while to stop. That doesn't explain why he put his lights on to attempt to stop you in the first place . He could have run your plates and found it belonged to someone with no record of wrongdoing. This is harassment.

Mate they were making it up as they was going - they had no reason to stop you. They were bored and thought it would be fun to hassle a car owner. Why didn't ask for your details? They knew what they were doing was unlawful.
Legals on Search “What I expect to find” is not REASON (legally “GROUNDS”) for the search. So it’s an illegal search. All the following investigative questions should be responded to with “no comment”, this isn’t an investigation under caution or anything else. “What’s your Business” is nothing to do with a stop and search. Even if later on, upon formal investigation, they invent something (typically “we thought we saw him throw a small bag out the window”) it’s still illegal / be breaches policy as it’s after the search starts. Here he invents the grounds half way through the search “you took too long to stop” - far, far too late. And besides you every legal right to find a SAFE place to stop. That doesn’t form grounds for a stop and search for drugs. If every car that took a extra few seconds to stop was treated as grounds for search there’d be riots from Motorists - he was profiled and searched. PROFILING is an illegal grounds for a search. Spot on. When these matters reach court there inadmissible. But these street pigs don't give a fuck because there answerable to themselves. Until they are held to account. Ie. Made to pay compensation. And court cost. And in some cases put before the courts. We will always have this shit going on. I have heard about people that get pulled time after time after making a complaint about the police. I think he called one a name and the cop got upset.
Don't answer questions from the start. fruitless stops should be compensated for your time and attention and any stress or harm to you and your possesions.
Sounds like Merseyside police especially when they said the pulled you over because of “a lot of burglaries in the area”. Merseyside police seem to use that one a lot of the time.
So he said first he stopped you because you did not stop straight away then went you asked him again he said their has been a lot of burglaries in the area. I would have challenged it.
They can search your person they can’t search your car unless they have reasonable grounds that means they have to fully explain their reasons for the search. They were vague with their explanation they had no right and you should make a complaint.
mate they can do what they like that's the problem its all about reasonable suspicion, they just twist it around to get reasonable suspicion for example you took to long to stop you were fidgeting. reasonable suspicion is a farce its far to vague.
@Cliff Butler i agree with you cliff all the way he had no grounds for reasonable suspicion whatsoever that was a malicious stop, but you say no the car window gets smashed, you get dragged out by 5 off them get charged with assault resisting arrest obstruction and probably beaten up and strip searched.they have the law on their side we the public don't but i agree with you all the way.

I don't know if you've been able to talk to a solicitor already but if you can't afford one and don't qualify for full legal aid, here's a tip (though it also depends on your income): Give a "donation" to a trusted friend / family member (actually ask them to mind it for you but if anyone asks, it was a donation or/and it was for work they carried out for you). Make it a very specific amount. Make sure it takes your savings below £2,500. Wait a while. Then get a legal aid solicitor. Sue the gits.

It seems a bit peculiar to me that they originally said they were stopping him for suspicion of drugs but then later when asked said it was because there had been burglaries in the area. Which one is it?
I was being harassed, all throughout January 2021 to May 2021. They has drug markers on my car and I was being stopped literally every other day, once even twice within an hour. I was given COVID fines worth over 20,000 (which all got threw out in court) I was arrested a few times of obstructing drug searches and resisting arrest. It was pathetic, I'm not a drug dealer, I've never been found in possession or under the influence of drugs ever in my life. They where stereotyping me because of the car I was driving, the fact it was like 1am and because I was wearing a hoodie and 27 years old questioning their powers. It's pathetic all in all. I'm a bus driver, work for a living and now I've got a criminal record because of all this crap for petite things like obstructing an officer in their duties and crap....
Bullshit reason for the pull. Do them for unlawful search abuse of power criminal damage. I hope you checked your car for missing money or items she pocketed something from the boot

Failing that show it to a DECENT (Not one of the duty arseholes the police use) solicitor, from the moment the arseclowns stopped you they overstepped any legitimate powers they have with the clear intention of causing you harassment.
So where were the reasonable grounds for him suspecting him of having drugs? Seems like an excuse to search him. So he's being detained for taking time to stop suddenly turns into a search for drugs. No wonder there's no trust in the police
What have lead this officer to the conclusion of drugs? What did he expect to find as he has not stated. As usual they haven’t followed procedure as they are to state who they are, where there stationed, what they are expect to find. None of which they did. Put in a claim for an illegal search, detainment. It’s worth thousands to you. See a solicitor asap.
I already have, before Christmas I sent this video along with another situation in which I was wrongly arrested for basically the exact same situation here. They've sent my complaint to the police and now they have 90 days to respond, but my solicitor doubts they will respond as apparently they never do, so it'll be taken further once the 90 days are over.
Under section 23(2) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, without needing a warrant a constable has power to detain and search a person or vehicle for controlled drugs if the constable has reasonable grounds to suspect that the person is in possession of such a drug in contravention of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. This clown in a uniforms excuse for the search was burglaries in the area. That had nothing to do with you. They were on a fishing trip and admitted they had no grounds other than the were burglaries in the area. Payout time due to gross incompetence yet again.
Boredom can be difficult to deal with in the early hours of the morning , I hope that gives an explanation into why they stopped you , she was just trying to get a rise out of you , l reckon they both knew within the first minute of speaking to you that they were running towards a dead end , anyway it filled in ten minutes of beating the boredom for them !!!!!

Yea it was all bull they where chatting, I was being harassed for about 6 months from January 2021 until June that year, because they supposedly had "intelligence" that I was involved with drugs.... which of course I wasn't, I had no criminal record and was a bus driver for Stagecoach in Wigan. But I've sent this video to a solicitors who is pursuing it for me along with another issue where I was wrongfully arrested during this time period
Always ask for a reference number from them before they leave and then make sure you always request it along with copies of the body cam footage. Didn’t check the engine area , underneath the car comportment ie magnetic holders , no drug dogs . Lame excuses for the stop and search. So they pulled you over because of the burglaries in the area, they then say you didn't stop soon enough for them and they search your vehicle and you under section 23? I think I'd be making all sorts of complaints!

Trust me, this went on for months, from January 2021 up until June 2021, months of harassment for nothing, always misuse of drugs act, police dogs in my car, even had my car seized once. Best part is that I've nothing to do with drugs and not once during that whole period was single spec of anything illegal found. I had no criminal record too. I was arrested a few times during it aswel for resisting arrest... basically copy and paste stops like this except I declined the search because they had no right to do it and they threatened to smash my car windows and drag me out,, to which I decided to exit my car and in doing do was placed in handcuffs and arrested for resisting arrest.... That's why I started recording.
incredible stop. did they get away with this. 162 allows them to stop you 163 you have to give your details but searching your car without permission no way
