Welcome to The Frey Life daily vlogs! We are Peter & Mary, a married couple in our early 30's, showing the ups and downs of everyday life with #CysticFibrosis, a genetic lung disease that Mary was born with. In August 2019, Mary started a new CF medication that changed the trajectory of our future, and life has changed dramatically - including our son, Elijah, joining our family in December 2021. We also have an adorable standard poodle, Oliver, and a hairless sphynx cat, Harry. It's our hope that these videos can be an encouragement to to celebrate the little things in life and find joy amidst a world full of hard realities!

Just because you guys have experienced lots of doctors & hospitals with Mary doesn’t mean Peter shouldn’t go get checked out. Hoping this is a small post-Covid hiccup, but ANY lung or chest pain should be evaluated by a trained medical professional. Please go see a doc.

This is so true and greatly needed.i was concerned that for a couple that have been in social media a few years,getting older as we all are,the reality of life is,it can change at any minute.and for peter to share his symptoms on their vlog so lightly,certainly raised concern with those of us who have followed there lives!

As someone with chronic lung disease who has experienced many complications, lung collapses, pneumonia etc it’s almost like you get used to things that are potentially life threatening as being not such a big deal as for most people….however they are. The symptoms Peter is having definitely call for him to get checked out. If it turns out to be pulled muscles then wonderful, but he may need antibiotics, or pain relief or even some more intensive treatment. Better safe than sorry. It is a good idea to get checked out. I’m a paramedic and transport a lot of people being diagnosed with new onset pulmonary embolisms, Afib and CHF post COVID. Seen an increase in MI/ STEMIs and strokes too.

My dad had a cough like that when he was in his early 40s it ended up being his heart, he had a triple bypass also my son had a stent put in his when he was 34. Peter needs to see a dr.

However,obviously peter in diagnosing yourself as having pleurisy,I am Praying for you!! I'm glad you are feeling better, but with the pain still lingering although less painful, you should still get it checked by your family doctor at least. Any chest/lung pain should be taken seriously. Stay blessed 💜.

Happy Peter is feeling better but I agree with the others that he needs to see a doctor to rule out anything they may of caused the pain. My brother had pain and he went and got checked and it wasn't by good news. Prayers 🙏💜

Elijah is doing so good! He might be a bit small but that’s okay, he’ll grow. I love seeing him attack his food and use his spoon! He really enjoys his food and it’s awesome that you don’t get upset about him getting dirty! Allowing him to experiment with his food and truly experience it has led him to being very good with his spoon at such a young age I think!

Peter you should really go get that checked out. You could have pnemonia or even something going on with your heart. I noticed that your still having breathing issues as well. Please just go get it checked out to make sure. It’s better to be safe than sorry. You got a beautiful wife and handsome son that needs you. I know I’m not the only one that sees how bad of shape your still in. We think of you guys as family so we do worry about y’all’s health as well. Don’t try to be that tough guy that doesn’t get checked out. That actually happened to my ex brother in law. He had a bad tooth and wouldn’t go to the dentist because he didn’t want to miss work but he almost lost his life. He’s now disabled, his heart is really bad now with a pace maker in it as well as has to take handfuls of medicine everyday just ro keep his heart going. He was in icu for weeks while they nursed him back to health.

Yes this! Men do tend to tough it out. My father was one of those, he ended up having a massive heart attack and died. I was 15. It always pays to get things checked out.

I like using heavy whipping cream in my coffee, but I usually still add a tiny bit of sugar (usually in the raw). So delicious!

It’s so wonderful and sweet to see Mary with her baby. I honestly never thought that they would adopt a child but they are a such happy, loving and positive family that it would have been a shame if they couldn’t pass all that love to a baby. By the way, where is Harry? We never see him anymore.

I do like the neutral toy Elijah grabs. I don't know what it's called, but it's stretchy string and small wooden balls. I like the one with the bigger ball, I have not seen that one. I always think the more food mess the better a kid's enjoyed the food! I'm so glad that didn't last for Peter xxx

I recommend a German pretzel recipee. The traditional pretzel is without egg and then soaked 30s-1min max in boiling soda watr. and then baked. Good luck for the next attempt

So I think the pretzel flavor you want is you make your shape and then before u put it in the oven you do a baking soda water bath. Shape. Dunk it put it on the pan and cook it.

Pin a pillow case around yourself! Fold it lengthwise, then wrap it around your middle, then pin it with large safety pins or diaper pins. It should be tight... So it can stay in placed all day long. Trust me...IT WORKS!

My fit husband had pain in his chest and thought he had a pulled muscle. In the end he decided to go to ER and was having a heart attack, and had to have stents put in.

My husband thought the same - a pulled muscle - he even sat up in a chair all night because the pain was so intense. He went to the doctor on his way to work the next morning and asked them for a shot for his pulled muscle. That’s when he was told he had been having a heart attack. He was in his 40’s. We are lucky he survived.

My husband also the hospital said was a pulled muscle sent him home he sat up all night in horrible pain took him back he had 4 blood clots in his lungs they couldn't believe he made it back to the hospital! He is only 42! Please you never know! And we thought we new so much with all my health problems Lupus, pacemaker, fibromyalgia etc

Maybe something forming in your lungs, cough needs to break. If chest is hurting and you have a dry cough you need to go check it out, might need antibiotics. Its good to deep breath and cough to try to break up the mucus in your chest if there is any. I had same symptoms about a month ago and i took antibiotics and did breathing treatments using saline and it helped break my cough

Both of my boys were small like that too. It wasn't until they reached about 6 and 7 yrs old that they started getting tall for their age. He's adorable!

@@andreanittel2240 It's possible there's just something about how they act when they're recording that makes him quiet and curious. Or that they choose times when he's already in a quiet mood to make it easier for them to concentrate on the vlog.
