Orla-Katy trick question you don't get stuffy nose with oxygen the stream of air is very I geuss you could say strong or fast moving and it will not let thr mucus or other stuff get to a position that blocks the oxygen from flowing into her lungs
Hey guys! Her new channel is Claire Wineland. She explained why she changed channels on the other page (some company that helped her edit when she started took control of her channel)
That is how I feel about my service dog! When people look at me weird or ask questions about him it takes me a second to remember that I have a 100lb German Shepherd standing next to me because it is so normal for me. My neighbor's granddaughter and my nieces always want to walk him so I hold one end and let them hold the other and they get sich a kick out of it. They think its the coolest thing (which his job it pretty awesome)! Best wishes on your health! I love your videos.
Guys she's not dead. Her new account is clairespace1. Basically these 2 guys scammed her of her account and took the credit and money. Go watch her new videos, like so people can see!
Hi Claire, I read about your story on an Italian newspaper (video.d.repubblica.it/attualita/claire-un-canale-su-youtube-vi-racconto-la-mia-malattia/1764/), and I'm totally blown away by the strength of your spirit. If everyone had the same approach towards the difficulties of their own lives, it'd be a much happier world. Keep strong! Warm regards from London.
I don't even really know what to write, because so many people already commented about all of the nicest things to say about you (which are all true), but I just felt the need of expressing what a wonderful human you seem to be. I just discovered your channel recently and I'm so looking forward to watching every single one of your videos, because they kind of make me feel good because you're so nice. So have a very great day Claire whenever you might read this!
the ad for this video was a clip of Smells Like Teen Spirit. And I didn't think it could get more awesome than that until you mentioned the girl skipping with your oxygen tube. Your positive, glowing attitude despite what you've been through is an absolute inspiration✌😃
LOL, it's not mean if they have a cold! I mean, it's not mean even if they don't, but if they have a cold you wouldn't want to catch it. They should be able to understand that.
She's not at stage yet where she can't be without her Oxygen for periods of time, so in the event of a nose bleed she would be ok without her O2 in the few minutes that normally takes for a typical nose bleed to stop. :)
Alyssa Brown I've been on oxygen, the nosebleeds are a bitch, most of the time you don't really know your nose is bleeding until you adjust your cannula and you're like "Oh hi blood" 😂 it can be prevented by having adequate moisture in the tube, instead of just dry air
Some people can get bloody noses when using cannulas (the tubing that goes in your nose) and what can help with that is adding humidification to the o2. For example, they have bubble humidifiers that can be attached to the concentrator to add some humidity and, hopefully, help with that.
i have one or two questions regarding your CF, if you don't mind :) - what bacteria have you got going and for how long on each? - have your healthcare people ever considered or discussed using "phages" to kill the bacteria instead of sacrificing your liver+kidneys with IV antibiotics? (phages are virus that feed off bacteria, i know a CF person in australia that only got rid of 8y old MRSA in his lungs by using a phage and there are tons of academia work on this actually :X) i'm just asking cause I have a little girl with double F508 and i wonder alot :) mostly i just wish she turns out allot like you did!! you have such life in you, it's contagious! :D
Totally reminds me of the part in Fault in our Stars where the little girls asks for the tube and the parent gets embarrassed. I think they ended up making it a bonus scene, it's on YT somewhere.
That's so weird, but I would probably be one to ask. :) This total reminds me of the time someone ask my if they could take you of my breathing treatments. I have asthma (like a bunch of kids in sudden death movies do ;p) and the first time one of my friends came over I had to take a breathing treatment, after it was done (while I was taking it I tried to engage in conversation, but she looked at me like I was crazy) I asked her what she wanted to do now an after her staring at minute she asked can I take one............. I lied and said sorry my mom would be mad because it just was so... awkward. I don't know how you can do that. I mean you wears your tube all the time and I can see how that can make it no big deal, but still seems awkward. By the way, Hi. I just found your channel and I LOVE it. Bye!!!!!!!!! :D
I had heart surgery a few years ago and woke up from the anaesthetic as she was putting the tube in my nose. I was so out of it I tried to push her away in I'm sure was the wimpiest fight ever. When I came too properly and I realised I'd made that poor nurse's job harder I felt so bad. My partner pointed out that my efforts were pathetic and she had to deal with much worse regularly. Still, it's quite uncomfortable and scary if you don't know what is happening.
My grandmother used to wear oxygen but she passed but anyways besides the fact I got to used to helping her with the oxygen and everything when I see people with it it's not something different to me but on to another subject you are such a freaking inspiration to me❤️❤️
+Jordyn Lauria odly as she said that i smelled peaches and just again as you wrote. it helps that i just took a shower not too long ago and the shampoo or condition must be peach or something similiar. is peach juice really that good? never seen it before and dont care for peaches, but i do enjoy a lot real fruit juices. all i see in stores are just the basic. apple, orange, grape, cran, and parmagranite (but ussually mixed with cran) some store sdont even have pineapple. i LOVE pineapple juice
It's really good! I got it at a pie shop and have not seen it much in regular stores but it is very sweet and delicious! and i LOVE pineapple juice as well!
Only time I needed one was when I had a seizure and paramedics came all that and put one in. Whenever I did wake up. I thought it was kinda comfortable
It's okay to say no sometimes if you do it kindly. Especially if it'll help prevent the spread of communicable diseases. Also, has Pulmozyme ever been an option for you?
Your facial expressions are priceless 😭💙 You have a big heart and that's beautiful, always make your heart the prettiest thing about you. Im an all around genuinely nice person so I know what it's like doing something to be nice while thinking in your head "Oh hell no" 😂 I think it's cool you let people see what its like to have that oxygen tank, hopefully I get to try on those tubes one day 💁🏻 I promise Im not one of these people with a stuffy nose 😂
I'm sure you've been told this numerous times but you're so CUTE! How did you learn to talk so FAST? You're so BRIGHT too (forgive the caps). I can't figure it out. Many people are in perfect health and they're miserable; and you have CF and you maintain an ECSTATIC mood! I hope you can get on some cable station. If you don't mind me asking: does CF prevent a romantic life? Because you don't seem to talk about it, not that I've viewed every video yet. Some of your comments puzzle me. It's hard to believe someone so young thinks about Sir Paul McCartney. Usually people your age have younger idols. Not that there's anything wrong with Sir Paul by any means, it's just a bit unusual for someone your age. And you read "Howl" when you're feeling DOWN? I read "Howl" in order to GET DOWN! Not that I'm criticizing you, it's just an unusual choice; though I read Greek tragedy or Shakespeare when I'm feeling down (what better way to feel cheerful than by reading the Bard's King Lear?). Anyway, Claire, keep it up. You speak better than 75% of the anchors on television and are a true INSPIRATION. And next time you're feeling DOWN, try Sidney Bechet's "Creole Blues"!
Haha you're such a cutie and I LOVE your energy and positive attitude! If I didnt have Cystic Fibrosis I would probably not found your channel and im so glad I did. I love your videos and hope you keep up the great job and p ossitive karma! Im 23 as of friday the 17th and still going strong with having CF:)
Babies and toddlers love to pull on the tube! I let them and their parents are like "No! Bad!" I am always telling the parents don't worry, it's OK it doesn't hurt me. I love when kids would come up and ask me "Why do you have that thing in your nose?" Curious kids are great! The parents always look mortified and I just think it's cute :)
Claire u my inspiration cause I think I can't do any thing like track and stuff but I love sports but I have a problem with my heart and thanks 4 being u Claire ur totally awsome
Girl, you're amazing! ❤️ You're so nice to complete strangers. Honestly, I'm mad at the people asking you to use your tube. I think that for anyone - except for kids, after all they're kids and have a 'licence' to be clueless - to ask you to use your oxygen tube is rude and you would have all the right in the world to tell them to f*ck off. Don't they care that you NEED it? They don't! The time they're using it, you're not, and you need that oxygen. It's detrimental to your health not to wear it and I can't believe some people's curiosity outweigh their care for your health. WTF is wrong with teenagers?
Hi Claire. Im a 51 year old father of 5 children and I have a question. Do you believe in God, Jesus and heaven n hell? Also, I just want to tell you what an inspiration you are. You're great attitude and outlook ( tho im sure there are times that are very hard), are so sweet, refreshing and awesome. I wish you all the best you wonderful sweet princess, you and your family are in my prayers. God bless and keep that energetic loving spirit.
Wow, I would totally ask to wear your oxygen too! Anyway, it is really nice to see that you have plenty of friends and you don't feel depressed at all by your unique condition. Also, you are really beautiful and if I didn't live thousands of miles away, I would definitely pay you a visit! ... I really wanna try some oxygen tube. lol
if you see this, unfollow this account and go to her real channel (Claire Wineland) where she explains why she got LOCKED out of this account. she's also on insta by the same name.
Never hate on a dying person, she might come back for you... All those haters Watch out!!!! make someone's life worthwhile, you don't know when they will be gone☺❤
I say what you guys don't dare to say. She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Yeah, I am a Spaniard and European. I am happy i found her on youtube. she is so beautiful :-)
I know this is an ignorant question and I'm not comparing the two, but I have asthma and I can feel my airways clogged and when I'm breathing I can hear all the mucus, is this similar to what cystic fibrosis feels like? I know it's not just in your lungs and I'm in a way saying these two are the same illness, in case people take this the wrong way. Asthma is so unpleasant at times so if it is similar I can only imagine how you feel physically.
Omg .. Your laugh is so so so cute and you are so pretty .. I repeat your video many time coz i loved your laugh and smile ~ 😍💗 wish you all the best and i really want to try your oxygen type 😅
I remember my great grandma had an oxygen tube and she would always offer for me to try it out, but 5 year old me, was always so scared to put it in my nose. I regret being so scared of everything.
Okay so I know this is an odd question to ask but if they do find a cure for it what will you do with your life? Because it would mean from going form this short time of living to a regular expectancy
