I cried when I saw the news about her death ( I saw the news yesterday on Instagram) and I felt so emotional because when I watched this completion days before the announcement of her passing I was saying she's such an angel and I genuinely loved the actress and was wondering how she's doing
Apparently that's Una Stubbs, the actress, as much as "Hudders" (LOVE it when Sherlock calls her that), the character: She has four sons of her own, and says it feels absolutely natural to her to mother Benedict and Martin!
When Mycroft tells Mrs Hudson to shut up, makes me giggle every time, and the off piano key makes it better, Noone shall ever tell Hudders to hush or Everyone will implode
@@vxryx0069 you may say he is loyal to John, but has betrayed mycroft , faked a relationship with janine, and has not got the amount of loyalty enough to ever be in hufflepuff
@@vimhome8022 Betrayed Mycroft, when?! If you're talking about the laptop thing, the plan like Magnussen said was never to give away that info, but simply to let the govt after him and get him arrested for the vaults and stuff. Sherlock didn't know the vaults didn't exist, his intention was never to betray Mycroft or give away sensitive information. Also, Sherlock has always put his own life at stake just to not let any of his friends' come in harm's way, if that's not loyalty what is?
There is a world of difference between, "oh but do shut-up😄" and "Shut up Mrs Hudson😡". Its a difference that is hard to convey in text, but one is said with a gentle ribbing, the other with acrid disdain. And if you show Mrs Hudson disdain.....John with kill you.....supposing Sherlock doesnt get to you first.
I remember when i was a bit younger i yelled "THE FUCKING AUDACITY" at the tv when Microft told her to shut up, Mrs. Hudson is a goddamn national treasure
I did the same when that CIA guy hit her then held a gun to her head. I think I speak for all of us when I say sherlock should have thrown him out the window another time.
We'll miss her forever. She gave us so much. Rest in peace, Una. England has fallen.💔 I came back to this video after hearing the news. My heart is absolutely broken.
Not even concerned that someone just got chucked out a window, just "oh my poor bins", she must be extremely desensitised to Sherlock doing weird shit to be so chilled about everything.
@@susannah8342 well I suppose your husband running a drug cartel and then sherlock being your tenant and basically adopted son, you'd gey used to violence and random things happening
Mrs Hudson: "I'm not your housekeeper Also Mrs Hudson: makes tea/coffee, cleans, makes food for them worries about them Me: your right Mrs Hudson your not the housekeeper your pretty much their amazing Mom
Sherlock: I was able to help her. John: So you stopped her husband being executed? Sherlock: Oh no, I ensured it. (smile) **abusers get wrecked** As a former victim of domestic abuse, that caption is EVERYTHING to me.
@@susannah8342 And boy did he ever. I almost feel bad for the guy. Getting thrown out a window multiple times has got to hurt, but he did hurt Mrs. Hudson, so my pity is very small.
"You are a good doctor, and a good man John Watson, and it is for exactly those reasons that I must request that you absent yourself from the premises for about the next half hour, that's a good chap, move along."
idc if u say that sherlock is a genius, he is dramatic af. he cares for his love ones so much and will do everything to save them even if he says sentiment is waste of time. dmn i luv him so much
Ikr same! He's a precious bean and Mrs Hudson sees right through his "sociopath" facade. I love that scene where she tells Mycroft/John how Sherlock has always been more about emotions, not thinking. And she's legit surprised they don't know that, like she knows him so well she thinks it's obvious. I love Sherlock and I'm so glad he has Mrs Hudson! :')
The tiny "little shit" at 4:52 almost made me fall out of my seat! 😆 *ETA* 1) NIBBLES. 2) Things she can't believe: -it 3) I'm so happy everyone else loves her little owl noise, too.
"𝑴𝒓𝒔 𝑯𝒖𝒅𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝑩𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒕? 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍!" Well, Englad just fell. Rest in peace Una, you were the heart of 221B Baker street, and the best landlady in the history of cinema. And of course not their house keeper! 💫💔 We will remember you till the end of the world 🙏
Mrs Huddson is the BEST character in this entire series thank you for the likes and hearth! I have my issues with the series itself, but I just love Mrs Hudson! I do recomend Elementary for Sherlock Holmes' fans
I think it's lovely that sherlock, at least this version, understands emotions a bit more than the older one, it makes him more human. I've not watched the series so could be wrong but that's how it comes across to me when checking out clips like this.
Mrs Hudson made it clear that’s she just the landlady not the housekeeper to them in the 1st episode than proceeded to be housekeeper and surrogate mum to both of them immediately afterwards.
Mrs Hudson turned out to be unexpected but we loved her even more. My favourite part is "If Mrs Hudson leaves Baker Street, England would fall." and when John asked her for the car.
