I ordered the MSD Two Step PN 87311 last week and it got here this weekend! This is for a 2016-2017 built after 2/23/2016! There wasn’t much concrete info or install videos out there so hopefully this helps.
MSD box - SOLID Blue wire splices into Blue/Orange on the clutch switch for ground activation! Thanks for watching!

happened to me before in my 12 gt . turned out to be a wrong wiring . after playing with some wires ^.^" worked fine ,, mine was activated by the trans break button .

Abdulla AUM I wish it was just wiring. I tried to wire it every which way I could and no luck. The only time it would sound like it wanted to try to limit the rpms was how I have it now. Spent like 30 minutes on the phone with MSD and they said the only possibility is a bad box.

Were the blue and orange wires seperate wires and you tapped in to both? Having trouble wiring.

Hey bro I gotta question, did you buy some higher end fuel injectors for the on3 kit and did you get a fuel pump system for e85?

I got ID1000s and a triple pump return style fuel system.

Hey man, I just installed the MSD 2step on my 2012 coyote and it’s running rough, almost like it’s misfiring. I even switched the harness from passenger to driver side and vice versa, but it’s still the same. Any tips?

How do you have it activated? 12v switch or grounded? It could be activating while running if hooked up incorrect. Could also be a chafed wire somewhere.

@@NWIPerformance I have the white wire tapped into my transbrake. I’m a TH400 car and I want the 2step to activate only when I’m on the transbrake.

@@jmendozas197 did you try swapping the 8 pin connectors to see if that resolved your issue? I’d check coil connections to to make sure they’re good and make sure you have a good ground.

@@NWIPerformance I did swap the 8 pin connectors. I’ll check the ground also, and if that doesn’t fix it, I’ll call MSD tomorrow to see if they can help.
