I played temur ramp just a little while ago and got only a cragcrown pathway, and that was game deciding in the Metagame challenge. Later in ranked I played another ultimatum and hit only a mountain. Sucks. I took my deck from MTGGoldfish, so it doesn't just have a lack of cards.

I can happily say that right now I am enjoying Standard after a long period of boredom. Still I dislike the insane amount of card draw Eldraine brings into the game but overall it is a great experience! I play a lot against Izzet where I see the Dragon often. And almost everytime they generate so much value from the extra two mana they get with it. I definitely underestimated that effect a little. My favorite card so far is Valki though. Many might think it is not quite up there but I won every game where I resolved Tibalt so far.

You may like bag of holding over mazemind (especially if you don't have the full set) and the goldspan can also be a terror of the peaks, pretty sweet to untap with that then proc the final chapter of the troll saga,

I tried this deck out, and it curves really well with the right hand. Now I know you said it is a land destruction deck, so was there a way to incorporate "Smashing Success"? I know it's a 4 mana drop, and your ramp spells consist of 4 mana drop. But I didn't know if you had any idea's because with Lotus Cobra and then cultivate, I know it can go right into Vastwood Surge. But what it it went cultivate into Smashing success? Or would the 2 less mana you would pull from vast wood hurt you in the curve for Goldspan, or Awaken the trolls?

curious, why no Klothys? she would add to your ramp while allowing you to exile important cards in the opponent's graveyard, especially useful as you want to go longer and the healing would aid you

you should try awaking the troll with mythos of illuna, you can basically cast it cheaper if you already have one and with olvar the all form it's triple copy! will destroy plenty of lands

Genuine question, but do you edit out most of your losses when making these videos? I tried this deck, even when doing everything right it will win maybe 1 out of 10 matches. It's too slow to deal with aggro decks, especially on the draw you may as well resign right away. Also against slower control decks unless you're on the play you will 9/10 times lose because you will not destroy their lands before they have time to set up counter spells.

That's actually something I've wondered about too. I like LVD's videos. They're entertaining, he plays fun decks and provides really good commentary. But compared to the other MTG content creators I watch, I feel his videos are very...curated? It seems like no matter how jank the deck, he wins 90% of the games in his videos and especially in his drafts, it seems like he 7-0s every draft, which seems impossible. I feel like he doesn't show most of his losses, which I guess I can understand. It's not too entertaining to watch someone play a deck and go 0-4 (unless it's Seth). But it also has the side effect of making a lot of these decks look really powerful and a lot better than they actually are.

hey legenVD, I made a deck around the iridescent hornbeetle, using vastwood surge to put counters everywhere. I was wondering if you could make a deck around it, because I aren't entirely happy with my deck and would love to see what you would with that card.

this deck is weak and it sucks i lost 15 times in a row. just like most of your decks its fun but it sucks you never find the waking the trolls and you draw to much land. im just saying what everyone else is probably thinking. btw been watching you and sub since magic 2013 on my ps4 your channel is good.
