In this video I fish 5 different creeks and catch several different kinds of trout. What's better than catching beautiful fish in beautiful water in a beautiful setting? Doing it 5 times! I also finish up my quest to catch a fish in each county in Utah.

I love this type of video and I was wondering how long is your line and rod. I just bought a starter rod that is only 180 centimeters for really small streams in Vermont.

All of that information is in the description of each video. The rod zooms from 8 ft to 9.5 ft to 11 ft. I used various line lengths from 7 to 11 feet on these different creeks.

I lose fewer big fish with the Mizuchi, so I tend to prefer that for the kind of fishing I do. But I still have the Suzume and will use it on creeks that I know have smaller fish. It's more sensitive.

@@TenkaraAddict I bought the wetfly 8ft tenkara rig from Cabela's. I had my eye on some other rods, but I had enough Cabela's gift cards to pay for the whole thing! Have to give it a try here in the mountains of Pennsylvania. I think it's going to be just what I needed for the little Brook trout streams!

love the enthusiasm of your experience. And the project to catch fish in every county of Utah, and now Idaho.. dont know if this would work but a map of the streams (not the exact locations as I know that 'code'.) approximating where you fished. Or are they the thin blue lines on the road maps? Keep on fishing.

yeah I know the business about ruining the fishing by telling everyone Where it is. I meant just location in general, not specific location. just a thought. like: Upper blank creek area. soandso County, Utah.. as I said an Approximation. If not, fine. Love the videos. Also the folding net you were trying and are going to change the netting. Is that netting the same rubber net as in your usual net. thanks

It would be nice if you would give us the name of the county and stream. I would love to day trip around Utah to hit some of these valleys and streams. I do recognize a few of your locations, but not all.

A you show what flies etc etc your using Prior to fishing , and secondly in the UK fish welfare is paramount to us , we land a wild fish by scooping a wet net under a brownie or rainbow , not swiping for it as you launch it into the air and catch it in a dry net , just saying matey , its sometimes a cringe moment !!!!!!

No, it's a tenkara rod. Tanago rods are made for very, very small fish.

I used to live in Ogden, and I caught fish in I think 7 streams in Weber County.

@@TenkaraAddict I used to spend every summer in Montana and There would be Wild Mountain Streams leading through farm and cattle land that would be full of wild great trout. And a couple I fished the waters there were untouched cause it was my grandpas friends property and he didn't fish it. I would catch hundreds of fish. In creeks as little as two feet wide. So i think what your doing is pretty cool. and the more I watch it the more I'm starting to appreciate it.

My main channel is a main source of income for me, and I do most of my fishing trips just as part of those trips. But at this point, this fishing channel is making enough to basically pay for any fishing-related stuff I do.
