I was looking at her fb photos and I couldn't tell who was who, I thought the mom's wedding photos were Brianne's. Oh, and Brianne did wear the dress in 2012.

I was listening to the introduction, then I finally look at the screen and say "Whose this? I don't remember them introducing a sister"😂 and then I seen the shirt. SHE LOOKS DAMN GOOD!!!!

Yup her mom was nice. I wonder if my mom would have done the same as she was scared of her sister(my aunt).

I took my mom and my MOH and they both were cool letting me pick what I wanted. They gave support and wasn’t like oh this is better. I picked what I wanted and happy with my dress. Some brides cares about what others think because they want to please everyone. It’s my day my choice. Lol I had picked the man and I was going to pick my own dress.

I did the same for my second visit. My mom made such a scene crying hysterically that I packed up and left then returned alone.

The third dress was the first one that she put back on.

I disagree to an extent. I think ‘the feeling’ is over hyped for sure when it comes to wedding dresses. As if it’s an explosion of pure raw emotion that is not comprehensible until you’ve experienced. I don’t think that’s the case. But I do think that, much like when you’re trying normal clothes on in a fitting room and find something you really really like, you might get a smidgen of that feeling. It’s just happiness that something looks good on you. The reason it’s so pertinent with wedding dresses, is because it’s an item that will be worn once, it’s for a very special occasion and it creates a sense of realization that the moment of marrying the person you love will come soon enough. And this is what you will be wearing on the day that you marry that person. Quite special I’m sure for most people. But yes it’s mystical hype is going too far and perhaps impacting future brides negatively because they expect something world shattering.

I agree but it depends on the situation as what if she is paying for her own wedding so the dress is just a gift. My sister in law’s niece had her parents pay for everything and everyone else objected since she should be paying herself.
