Well, she did say something like, "things like this tend to work themselves out", and that's exactly what happened... the other women shelled out money. Seems to me sister is used to people bailing her out, hence her entitled attitude. Bride seems to be a little more humble, but then again we didn't see her immediately saying thank you to those women, either.

Yup, and her sister was VERY quiet when people were offering to chip in to buy the dress the bride wanted.

She DID say 'If I could help, I would' which gave me the impression she was still in school or something..It would have been nice if she'd said she would give up something in order to contribute.

You do know that that garbage is all just hype and not reality, yes? The producer who is there with the camera crew tells the entourage what to say, tells them to hype up any kind of drama they can possibly come up with, and if there isn't any, make some up. Only gullible viewers aren't aware of the lies and producer-made non reality of the so-called "reality" shows, and that goes for every genre, but is most heavy in the silly bridal gown shows because women in general love to have everything be all drama.....especially when they then get to criticize everything, as you just did.

The production crew actually picks the entourage and of course for the sake of entertainment they tend to go with the most prickly or contentious members for the bride to have along.

@@savitami1155 I am referring to the fact that the sister did not even offer to help with paying on the dress..... even though the sister picked it out and had several awful comments about everything that the bride liked and was talk talk talk talk talk until the dress that she picked out for the bride was $1,000 over budget and then she decided to shut her mouth because she was not going help.

Sister actually made a comment about the budget before any were tried on by the bride. ....was like "there will be a way" or something similar re price 😔🤬

I liked the tops of the other two but the waist on the last much more. I'm sure they would be fine after fitting but I think it looked better having a more tailored look and less at the waist.

I agree, it's a beautiful dress and it suits her perfectly. But most of all, I loved their wedding, beautifully simple, not that over the top stuff most of these brides are looking for... Just so nice, so true, a couple, their love, share with family and friends... that's all what a wedding is about...

@@lotsapeachtree5513 why shouldn’t the families help out? Where I’m from, the wife’s family generally used to cover the cost. Oftentimes nowadays the couple pay themselves, but there’s no reason a family shouldn’t help if they’re ready, willing and able!

I know what you mean but in this case it’s the sister that chose the dress and I think she did it on purpose because as soon as the rest of the family said they would chip in the sister stopped smiling and she did not offer to chip in either. The bride looked beautiful in all the dresses.

@Marva The consultants put her in the dress despite knowing the price (it's their job to stay under budget). It's ultimately their fault in my opinion.

If someone is going to Lori's salon with a $1500 budget, she should be looking at the tags themselves. They aren't secrets. Robin already told her that there would only be a handful of dresses that she could show her. That would have clued her in. The bride is going to become a head of house person. If the time to act like an adult isn't now, I don't know when it is. Stop blaming the consultants. Unless the bride doesn't have eyes to see the tag, then she isn't too worried about it. Be responsible for your own choices.

True! It will account for tax too which I think a lot of women don’t think about when setting a budget. I will say though, the only problem with a $1500 budget is the store they’re shopping at. I had a $1500 budget and my dress was gorgeous and I had tons of options. I don’t like simple either. Lace is expensive, but today there are so many copycat fabrics and materials that you can get any look on a budget without necessarily looking cheap.
