I've kept Honda informed of my journey to a million miles over the past few years. I hit a million in our Accord 3/11/23. I've not heard anything from them like that. I'm getting ready to drop in another engine and keep going.

I don't see why he couldn't install a whole new engine in it, the body and runn gear are still in great shape, might need wheel bearings at some point, bushings...

My advice as well, stop leak

The only other thing I can think of, maybe you could try as a last resort is heavier weighted thicker oil just to try to maybe limp it to 1 million miles -Who knows, Honda might give you a free car or discount for making it to 1 Mil miles on one of their cars? Not sure, but the thicker oil *might* be less likely to slip through the engine and leak out?

@@cluelessdriversofcolumbuso2227 Not a bad thought process. But to me that would work with an old school engine with wider tolerances. New Honda engines (I own a modern Honda V6) have extremely tight tolerances that a thick oil would struggle to circulate in causing more problems. But I absolutely see your point. Well made.

I have not. Their's no recommended service interval for that. It's designed to last the life of the car.

@@Imleocalm Yeah I know that honda doesn't provide a service interval for that(I own two Hondas, with a waaayyy less mileage than yours) ,but man I though that they would have replaced it for precaution considering the high mileage. It's nice to know that Honda's cahins last really the life of the car,maybe even 2 or 3 lives. What about the clutch?

If you stay out of high boost then there is less wear on the engine. Essentially don’t floor it that much or undergo heavy acceleration

@@Imleocalm you should contact local good mechanic do the repair. It’s a lot cheaper. The alternator and belt probably just cost total 400 bucks to replace. Alternator is like 200 bucks at most lol. Belt is cheap….valve cover gasket if you are handy you can change it yourself hahaha. It’s not that hard
