That's a great Castlevania collection Steve! What a great and varied series; I certainly prefer the "Metroidvania" style of play such as in SOTN but will always have a nostalgic grin for the NES and SNES side-scrolling action adventure stage progression titles! And the MUSIC, all throughout!
Thank you! It really is a great series that has stood the test of time. I enjoy all iterations of the games over the years myself but do really enjoy the Metroidvania style ones as well! I do love the original trilogy to but the GBA games are so good as is SOTN. Oh the music! The music the music the music! 😂
Thanks Shaun! I know man, I used to have them back in the day and beat two of them but just haven’t bought them since I started collecting. That could actually be why. I just played the crap out of them when I was you younger 😂
Illusion Island just came out a few weeks ago and even though there is no combat it’s a decent Metroidvania style game. Nowhere near Castlevania or Metroid of course but a much more mellow chill Metroidvania go.
