Well this has been a very long time indeed! As mentioned later in the video, you guys should have a say in what happens to this channel so please do let me know your thoughts. The social landscape has changed pretty dramatically since i started this channel so it can never be the same as it was - so lets think about the future 😊 I hope you are all well!
Love a bit of good ol' fashioned BvG vloggage me - if you're only doing it for the hobby thing then why care too much about the algorithms? There's a quarter of a million of us here that will always find and watch your new videos...keep at it matey, always entertaining, just do your thing...great to see you back.....

@@BaronVonGrumble Just avoid certain words and phrases and instead use code words. For example, maybe you want to talk about concerns surrounding Mars bars, should we be forced to eat Mars bars? Maybe you don't want a Mars bar while other people are happy to eat all four.....that sort of thing. Believe me, many people share your frustrations!
“I just want things around me that I enjoy and make me feel good”… I think you unintentionally hit the nail on the head Chris. The fundamentals of depression right there as well a state of modern “society”.

We appreciate the old days of London rants are over but I wouldn't want you to change and be like 90% of content creators are like. Personally, I've always loved your honesty about topics and will continue to watch for many of years.
I love the old school style BVG vids! Love the rants, the humor, the bikes. I too am disaffected with modern Western civilization, so I enjoy hearing your thoughts on the subject. I hope you're doing well and hope to see more BVG vids!

I use the sport cock analogy to this day, your content is needed Chris. I actually fall in and out with 44 teeth, went back the other day and the latest videos didn't have you in them..thought you were gone! So definitely glad to see you post here, I say just do what your doing..jump in. I reckon your creative enough to make it good even if you feel you need to censor yourself given the current climate
Welcome back Chris! I certainly missed you and it's great to hear your voice again, LOVE the bike also. Regarding your state of mind and the things you want to talk about, believe me when I say that you are not alone, not even close. There are many of us who feel exactly the same, and have suffered these past 2 years with what has been happening in the world, while most people seem to be perfectly content to OBEY. I'd listen to you rambling on for hours about anything, so don't be afraid to speak up :)
Nice to see you back. There is something very cathartic about watching your videos/listening to your voice.. I like your no nonsense, no filter rants about stuff too, it’s just fun, nothing too serious!

Well my evening just got a lot better! Great to see you back, especially on this gorgeous machine! I think I can safely say we love pretty much any content you put out, but these little bike-tour videos are always a personal favourite.. The political rankings are always fun if you can get away with them though..
I love how its been so long but this had all the hallmarks of a true BVG vlog. cruising along noticing all the little observations of the world today (and acknowledging what most people know but dont speak about), random full throttle moments and a nice bike. the Baron seems like he is doing a lot better though which is great to see.

I haven’t watched any of your videos for at least 5 years and the other day i was thinking about how much i used to love watching you, and then boom guess who pops up on my newsfeed, it’s great to see you back and to hear your voice again!
I feel pretty much how I think you do, the world has changed and for the most part I don’t fit in with how it’s going. I don’t think I am crazy but know if I said what I was thinking people would say I am. I am kind of at the point where I have just got to give in and live life true to myself because it genuinely is starting to get unhealthy. It’s been great to see you back on here if only for the odd video, well done on 44t I watch it a lot and it’s always on point. Whatever you do take care of yourself and stay true to you! Ps: yes noisy exhausts are right pain but when riding them we truly don’t care, my SDR has a decat and the pipe Werx can so you know how much I don’t care when riding it. You’ve probably heard me in the morning as I tear up the a325 to from Farnham to black nest and I don’t apologise for a thing 😂

YESSSS! So happy to have the Baron back! Since watching so many of your great vids I’ve been inspired to do my full access and now have just got my first proper jizz machine…a 2016 S1000R and I’ve never been happier than screaming along grinning from ear to ear! Thanks for encouraging me into the obsession that is biking and everything with it!

I feel exactly the same about speaking your mind and these bloody cameras at checkouts and everything else that they feel they have to change. They're aren't many video's like this with your kind of personality keep up the good work.

A black marker will work! My dad put black electrical tape over the huge red emergency brake light in an old Plymouth (Dodge) instead of fixing it. Dad affectionately called that car Rinky Dink. Happy to see you back!

I saw the little image and just assumed RU-vid was pointing me back to a video from 10 years ago, but no, it was only 5 days ago! This was awesome. Just ramble on and tell us what's bothering you, what you're enjoying, what you're watching etc. Like the good old days. It's just nice listening to you as you zoom about. I enjoy just hearing your ramblings, your train of thought and your opinions (scary word). I do agree that these days it's usually not enough to just ride and talk, but I think you might be an exception, cus you're an interesting guy.

I’ve followed your antics on two wheels since you began and loved the rants and the heartfelt stuff all wrapped up in that wonderful world of biking. LOL Chris, My BMW has pretty warning lights too. Its all part of the experience. This is why BMW Adventure bikes are always in town, en-route to or from the dealers.
I can't stand using Supermarkets either, anxiety etc. I use and used the indoor market here in Scarborough, now and during lockdown. Spacious, friendly and quality stuff. It made things much easier as I was shopping for several households. I wish I'd known about this channel and 44 back then. It's a strange one that all the b-ache of the Covid days seems like a distant memory (or lack thereof) considering it wasn't so long ago. Cheers.
Welcome back Chris. You played a huge part in me getting back into riding. I lived around Alton for 20 years before moving to Australia and I would watch your content when I was feeling homesick, to see all the awesome familiar roads. It seems that you and I are very much on the same page regarding the current "situation" yet you articulate it far better than I, so I say go for it.

So nice to see The Baron putting out some content again, I'm sure I'm not the only one who started following you because of your honesty and openness, I for one would love to see more content just like this. I know nothing of the frustrations experienced by RU-vid content creators, but if this channel could be an outlet for you to just share the occasional glimpse into a hobby most of us love, I'm all for it!

So happy to have you back, and I think you need to talk about the things you feel important to talk about. We're all here to listen. And I wouldnt worry about the RU-vid algorithms too much, Charles Veitch talks about 'the stuff' everyday and I dont see the algorithm has hurt him at all.... Lets be having both bores of The Baron please.

Glad I'm not the only one who finds the self-service screens so awful. Not only do they film you everywhere you go, they now make sure that you know you're being filmed. It feels all a bit dystopian and creepy! I miss the BVG ramblings, I think you would find a significant chunk will agree with what you have to say. Glad to have you back.
A. Keep these coming. I, for whatever unknown reason, can listen to you ramble for tens of minutes about any topics. Plus bike noises. B. I would be highly suspicious of anyone walking inside a store with full riding gear on.
Gorgeous bike, I'm such a fan of that engine. I have a 2013 R1200R and 2011 R1200GS. Beautiful paint job and I love those gauges. The new TFT displays are just not the same. Thanks for taking me along on a ride in your part of the world.

Beliefs are not always 'right'. If they were right then they would be facts, not beliefs/opinions. I'm a believer, for example, in just being left alone to do things the way I want to, but I also understand that the wider society should be considered. I'm glad to see you back. Always good videos!
Seeing an old school BvG vid had made my week. I understand what you're saying about algorithms and social media in 2022, but honestly, unless you need the big surplus income from becoming really, really popular (again!) I would absolutely argue for a revitalisation of the old ranty vlogs... That's what brought us all here, and if we're still subscribed, definitely if we watch, and absolutely if we comment or bother to read this far, that's what we're still here for.
