I've got Scream 1-3, The Thing 1982, Halloween 1978 and 2018, The Descent, Psycho 1960, The Birds, Misery, The Shining, Jaws 1 & 2, Sweeney Todd, the first two Conjurings, The Nun and the Annabelle trilogy, plus Coraline if it counts. I'm hoping to get the first two Alien movies in a set as soon as I can, but those are the ones off the top of my head. I might have more.
I’m pretty new to collecting physical movies, so O only got Scream, Evil Dead 2, Evil Dead Rise, Jaws, The Shining, Nightmare on Elm Street Collection, Cabin in the Woods
Wow, Zack! Your commitment to physical media is impressive! I'm happy to say I've seen most of the movies you've covered. The ones that I haven't, I've now added to my list.
I really appreciate this Zack! I’m a big physical media guy myself. I just started building a collection of VHSs from Blockbuster Video. I really don’t like how physical media is going out of style. It’s part of the filmgoing experience for me. Still love new release Thursdays! The last ones I bought were Scream 2022 and the Target Exclusive of No Way Home. Also, can’t wait for the Scream 2022 Who Killed Who.
Oooh, Skeleton Key is a great movie! Please do check that one out when you get of a chance. Definitely a thriller, but a great one! 🥰 Awesome collection!
Fun fact: I'm also from Canada and we use to have a H.M.V Video store. But now they changed the name of it and now it's call The Sunrise Record's. Still do the same thing as H M.V. When ur want to order movies or tv shows they don't charge u for it. So I love how the rules of it stayed but the name is the only thing that changed about it. And BTW Zack, u remind me of well me cause of all the movies u own, and i have alot of them myself. I like to collect movies and tv shows. I don't think that I will ever stop buying them. Thank u so much for uploading this video and making it. I have seen all the movies in the background in everyone of ur videos, so I was thanking when is he going to do a video about his movies. Thank u so much. And can u also do a video on how many posters and pictures u have on ur wall as well? Have a great day see u in ur next video!!!!!!😁
Omg, you unlocked all my childhood memories of going to HMV and spending an hour going through all the CDs and DVDs. And Final Destination being #180 is perfect.
I will literally pay you any amount (not seriously speaking but I'm willing to negotiate a price) for all 7 seasons of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. Growing up, I fell in love with BTVS. Its literally a comfort show for me as I rewatch it every year and even just watch episodes in my spare time no matter if I already finished my rewatch. Not only has Buffy been a huge role model (Sarah as well) for me but she's literally become a part of my personality and who I am. My best friend even tells me she is the character I remind him of. And don't get me started on the many parallels that happen in my life that parallel to something that happened to Buffy. I know I could get the DVDs from anywhere, but it would be such an honor to buy them from you. I really love your account as I am a huge Scream fan myself. My excitement seeing Sarah in Scream 2 was through the roof as a child.
Your Argento collection is perfection. If I had seen this sooner, I would have easily bought those early Animal Trilogy DVDs from you, cuz they're so Hitchcock and I can't find them anywhere! (And so many other great ones of course, cuz you have great taste.) Ahhhh here comes Mario Bava too!! Gotta watch The Girl Who Knew Too Much, it's a classic (and John Saxon all young and handsome!)
Great collection - but you have to take a weekend....or 5, and sit down and watch all the films you have not seen! I mean we're talking about some outstanding classics that you own but haven't actually watched?! C'mon dude - you're better than that.
Zack, keep a perfect getaway. That movie is a gem and it would be such a great podcast subject! The gore is cool and there’s two scream connections in there!!
Really enjoyed this video. So let's comment it heheh. Please watch The Exorcism of Emily Rose, because even if you don't like it, you'll probably be impressed by the acting. The Others is also a good movie. You have some of my favorite horror movies, like Scream, REC and Cube. It's a nice collection you have there. Here you have some recommendations to add next: - Triangle (2009; kinda horror adjacent; best horror movie ever made imo) - Queen of the Dammed (it seems you like Vampire movies... this one has the best soundtrack ever for me) - Enemy (calling it horror adjacent is a bit of a stretch, but I have a feeling you'll like it; inspired in José Saramago's work) - Blair witch 2 (hated because the first is so iconic, but an interesting movie) - Split (good horror adjacent movie) - The Platform (2019; spanish) - Cry Wolf (is it a great movie? No, but I like the game component) - Timecrimes (also spanish; time travel themed) If I remember other ones I'll come back and edit this.
I know to a lot of people, this seems like a lot. And I’m not going to say it isn’t. But I have more than 900, just on VHS. When I count all formats, it’s over 7000 total… just horror, which is only about 80% of my collection
Is there any way Casey's isn't #1? I think Roger Jackson was better in 5, but that's just such a masterfully done scene. Everyone can agree it's the best part of the whole franchise.
I have been watching your videos for awhile and just learned with this video that you're Canadian too! Always happy to learn I'm supporting a fellow Canadian ❤
What platform are you looking to get rid of some of these dvds on you have quite a few that have been on my list and I'm having a nightmare trying to get a hold of them.
20:29-Leprechaun is for sure a very odd series; the first one was pretty good, Leprechaun 2 was kind of a retread of the first, only he’s in love with the main girl. Leprechaun 3 is an EXTREMELY fun horror movie set in Las Vegas, where the Leprechaun grants wishes in demented fashion; if you enjoy movies like Wishmaster with a lot of gore, definitely a fun watch. Leprechaun 4: In Space has some fun moments here or there and is ok, but it was mainly just that period of horror where EVERY horror icon went to space (they also did Jason Voorhees, Critters, & Hellraiser) Leprechaun: In Tha Hood and Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood are both enjoyable horror movies, mainly focusing on the Leprechaun getting involved with generic African American gang tropes you see in movies, so there are drive by’s, one lady melts his coin so she can have a gold tooth, and of course, Leprechaun gets high. Leprechaun: Origins was just a generic monster movie trying to use the Leprechaun IP in order to gain interest and was not all that good. Finally, Leprechaun Returns takes the requel approach of Halloween 2018 and is a direct sequel to the original Leprechaun movie, only this time the Leprechaun is played by a different actor
Fabulous collection buddie. U have load of films and some I've still to get on Blu Ray. I think the dvd u have of Black Christmas is the remake which I prefer to the original
nice. the perfect getaway was great. werewolf in paris should have a blu-ray at this point. their pretty late. the first one i found, took me awhile, but i found it. directors cut, maybe like three diff. languages in the title. Lol the only difference, they don't were out the mouth track as much, i guess. but, it's still fun. watch emily rose, fur sure. christine, pumkinhead? what are you dewing!? Lol i kdd, take your time. that Scream collection, rules, specially that cover. 👍 #AngelinaTrain
I have... every Friday the 13th, every Halloween, every nightmare on elm street, every final destination, every scream movie, the babadook, the silence of the lambs, paranormal activity, the thing, fear street 1 2 and 3, all the alien movies, chucky movies, idle hands (just for Tom delonge) candy man, all the saw movies except spiral, Shaun of the dead, get out, Annabelle trilogy, conjuring trilogy, the nun
Have you made a video of all your favorite horror movies? If not can you please make one??? It would help me so much with my collection plus I enjoy your videos
This video showed me how strange the list of horror movies I have and haven't seen is like I've seen the skeleton key and my soul to take multiple times but only seen Jason x and freddy vs Jason in the Friday the 13th series lol
Hang on to your DVD release of Hellbound: Hellraiser II if you ever decide to upgrade it to Blu-Ray. The DVD has an extended scene that I don’t think was ported over to any other video release.
Thoughts on Splice (2009) with Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley? I love it. And certainly interesting and ambitious (more so than the critical panned Prom Night (2008) or The Unborn (2009)) but I feel you'll dislike it because it goes a little far (like comparable The Human Centipede, also from 2009)
I rewatched Scream 2022 as a rental to give it another chance and Wes Craven’s absence really shows. I like Amber but not Richie. He’s just kinda there. Not sure if it’s after Scream 3 as my least favorite or right before. I have special love for Scream 3, as it’s the first installment I saw.
I Personally LOVE the first 4. I hated 5. Gonna have to fully agree. Didn’t have the same wit, charm or creativity the rest of them had, was very humorless throughout and the “jokes” that were there didn’t land. I thought the new cast had no personality, especially the main actress. Just a huge misfire. My ranking would go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 1, 2, 4, 3, 5
For as much as people put down 3 it’s LEAGUES above 5 in my opinion. At least has that same Scream charm to it. 5 is just hollow that’s the best way I’d describe it
@@Nuketendo Oh yeah forgot to mention the absence of Wes Craven really shows. I second that ranking. 3 before 5. Especially when Roman attacked through the window. It’s my favorite scene.
We (my mom and i ) have to much horrormovies there are probably 100 to 150. And i own from myself between the 20 and 30 horrormovies. We have a lot slasher movies and also to much b-movies that we buyed of curiosity. 13 ghosts is such a great movie. Genuinly i adore you're collection , i have self a full closet with a lot movies and to be fair to much books
I have Scream 1/2/3/4/5/6,The Thing Exorcist Christine Friday the 13th Howling Silver Bullet An American Werewolf in London Nightmare on Elm Street Pumpkinhead 2011 The Thing prequel , 2010 Wolfman Conjuring 1-3 Annabelle 1-3 The Nun Curse of Lla Lorona, Salem's lot, Blair Witch Project, John Carpenter's Vampires, Halloween 1978
I've been trying to catch up on Marvel (cause I'm really behind and want to see the new Dr. Strange movie w my friend who I haven't see in a long time) this past while, and more specifically, this past week, and this video really made me miss horror. I'm really enjoying marvel, but I wish I could delay multiverse of madness's release date so I could watch some new horror movies 😪
To be fair, I think production just kinda forgot about Emily/Angelina. I'm not sure when they made that booklet, but I really think it was just an error. I do still have some thoughts on what COULD'VE happened within the Scream universe where she's concerned. I used to call it my head canon, but it's not really that. Just supposition. Let's say she really was still the secondary Ghostface. I mean, most of the movie was filmed with that arc in mind. She had the realization that she was probably either gonna go to prison or die with Roman. So, she waited until they faked her death. Roman was a little busy killing other people and trying to kill others to worry about where she was. If he had any thoughts about her, it was probably that she wasn't pulling her weight in the mansion. Anyway... She ran away after Roman took off to kill more people. Only Roman knew she was his accomplice. So, she could easily live her life under a pseudonym. Most people probably wouldn't even recognize her. Even with Sid having a pretty good photographic memory, I'm not sure the encounter in the bathroom would be enough. She's still the only one I could see who might remember her. Anyway, my point is, Angelina is not coming back whether the character is dead or not. It's just funny and perplexing that she was left out in that booklet.
I only collect bluray, really because i only started my collection in 2015 or so and i gave most of the horror dvds i owned to my sister a few years prior to that. I will say it gets hard when you have gaps in your collection because something isnt on bluray. Disney lease the rights to STAY ALIVE to Scream Factory you cowards.
