I got a barlow from "SZCO Supplies" on Amazon. It's a cheap knife. But it has a wood handle and good springs. And the one I got is a very nice, comfortable, inexpensive knife.
I just received my 501 squire along with 4 other. bucks. They were 2X110, 112 Ranger , 726 mini spitfire and out of the five i received the only one worth keeping was the 112 Ranger all the others were very poorly built and finished and are all going right back to the factory.
Have three 501,two old and a later one with wooden scales. My go to knives every day. Buck rebuilt one of my early ones ,fantastic service and turn around. Great lifetime warrenty.

I got the 501, 503 and a 055 a couple weeks back. So far I've been carrying the 055 and have been pleased. Looking forward to trying out the others soon.
fun vid. I always liked the 501 alot. Its sort of unappreciated I think until you get one. Good all around everyday knife that can actually step up to some serious tasks if you need it too. I carry a Buck pocket clip 484 lockblade at work. It is kinda their cheap plastic pocket version of the 501. Its USA made, but ain't no 501! I need to find a scuffed up user Squire to carry to work, lol.
