This song and album just hits sooo hard. I'm not a singer or song writer, but I definitely think about my life as a whole almost constantly. This song has made me cry multiple times. Knowing we all struggle and keep fighting. Just an outstanding song. Love your reaction videos!

Trust me, those of us who HAVE fought substances and the law, or whatever it may be, we do feel connected to Benjamin Tod. He’s the people’s champion and I hope he gets all the worldly treasures applicable, on his path to redemption.

As someone who always puts myself last, this song made me fuckin tear up

As someone who has also struggled with substance abuse, I can almost guarantee that he is referring to friends and family who have been hurt by his addiction and relapses. Nobody believes you anymore, and there is such a profound sense of abandonment that envelopes your entire being. Sometimes those fences are too damaged to repair, even with time. That is the reality of addiction. I have 8 years clean now and Benjamin Tod has given me hope throughout my recovery. I fucking love this man.

Yes brother. This song is what it is all about. What can i say except Benjamin Tod is legit the real deal. We are blessed to be watching the growth and the new music as it comes along. The Lost Dog Street Band is amazing live. This song was the closer at the show i went to in October in Louisville.
