My (non)Judicial Meeting with 4 Jehovah's Witness Elders

Hi Everybody. It's the "morning after"....first of all, thank you to all the beautiful people out there who've said prayers, sent texts and messages, and given me strength and hope during a trying time.
oh!...and I'm still not disfellowshipped!....it just keeps getting weirder........
Last night I walked into an ambush...but if we can all learn anything..it's to not underestimate just how low the #JehovahWitness #elders are being trained to stoop. Should any of these men ever wake up from the witch hunt they are participating in, I will be the first to welcome them into my home and heart with open hearts. #Forgiveness is a powerful force.
I didn't have the energy to talk as we were driving to the kingdom hall and this was the first CD (yes...I still use CDs...lol) I found...and playing that song seemed rather ironic and appropriate...especially today as I think about the lyrics. Please fast forward to the 5:00 mark to skip the song (or go and do the dishes while listening to the song.)
Today I'm just too tired...but I'll probably go back and listen and leave some minute marks that were "interesting" to me. I feel very drained today.
But if I....we get anything from this recording it's this:
The Jehovah's Witness religion is currently banned in Russia (and other lands) and the leadership is protesting this ban with great enthusiasm and vigor under the subheading #religiousfreedom But do Jehovah's witnesses themselves grant the same freedom to others that they demand for themselves. The answer is a big NO. So even if you are an atheist (Shalom to you!) or any other belief system, this recording should be of interest to you because it highlights the hypocrisy of an organization that calls themselves "Christian."
Watchtower is revealing the next level of "beheading"...they are skipping their entire "judicial process" (apparently I don't even have the option of appealing this nonsense...which perhaps is a blessing in disguise...because I'm truly happy about moving forward) and now telling people that "You've disassociated yourself." Ok...so if that is true...why do I need to be #shunned by my family and friends for exercising MY freedom of thought and belief. Why is silencing and shunning JW.org SOP?
Shunning is cruel and unusual. Many Jehovah's Witnesses have committed suicide or medicated with drugs and alcohol and self abuse as a result of being ostracized. Please help me bring awareness to this very cruel practice.

I would say that Ali has proved, if proof was needed, that they need more women teaching in their Kingdom Halls. @@newlifemovingon374 I know it's so frustrating I have a sister in this organisation and since I tried to tell her some truth about the GB she has nothing to do with me. I've never been a witness but I am being shunned anyway. When our mother passed away she told me she would see her again and I wouldn't. That's what prompted me to look into this religion to find out if they had the truth, and oh my I certainly found out about the truth about the truth. I hope one day she rediscovers her brain and uses it.

Really don't enjoy saving this but I hope you're right about it there will be some jw people who would not look at other websites that are not jw approved they will only look at gb websites. These men, by their words of condemnation, show the world that they consider themselves to be the most righteous of all Christendom, yet their hypocrisy was made manifest by you when you referred to the 10-year Watchtower/UN affiliation. They say that your decision to get baptized by someone not a witness meant you were disassociating yourself, by JOINING YOURSELF TO UNBELIEVERS. If we accept their logic that a single act of baptism nullifies your membership as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, what then where you to engage in a 10-year-long joining with the organization they call "the image of the wild beast". Why do they prosecute you, but do not accept that BY THEIR OWN RULES the Governing Body and high ranking members of the headquarters staff have disassociated themselves by JOINING THEMSELVES TO UNBELIEVERS? You bore them witness just as our Lord did to the religious leaders of his day. It is interesting how the words you quoted from Matthew 7 resonate. Those who are declared as "workers of lawlessness" by our Lord are caught off guard by his denunciation. They go to him in the time of judgment fully convince they have done all he asked and been loyal and true. They are blind to their actions, yet they have no excuse for such blindness, because their blindness is willful. WELL DONE, MY SISTER!

I'm surprised that this step hasn't already been taken somewhere by a disfellowshipped person. As most JWs are poorly educated and have no friends outside the organisation, it might explain why it hasn't happened. These four cowards ran like rabbits caught in the headlights as soon as she mentioned "lawyer".

You remind me of a sister I knew back in the early seventies I wish I would have married. She was greatly misunderstood, but she was just different. She was honest and courageous just like you. They couldn't answer your honest and intelligent questions because they have an organization to defend. They were verrrryyyyy unloving to you, like icebergs. Wow, your responses were so right on! Prayer is powerful because two or more gathered in Christ's name, his spirit will be there (Mt. 18:20)! If this is NOT a judicial meeting, and Ali made her CHOICE, then WHY ARE THEY MEETING WITH HER?! THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!! This is the modern-day INQUISITION!!!! God answered your prayer. He WAS with you in your meeting. You uplifted His Word. You uplifted Christ. I am beyond proud of u. I wish I could give u the biggest hug right now. You were so brilliant in there. All four of them were nothing against ur knowledge. I love how u said about reading the scriptures in context. All they do is cherry pick what they want. Anyone can take a passage and make it fit their beliefs. I believe it’s called eisegesis when u force the bible to agree with yourself, and exegesis when u read it and believe the words of God. I’ve listened to so many JCs, but I was blown away by how hateful they all were! You remained so calm and loving throughout, a TRUE CHRISTIAN ❤️ Thank u for sharing this. Amazing how I grew up with this same scripture ( John 8:1-11) and understood the principle of it, but the new Silver JW Bibles have removed these very verses due to controversary over it, so ok if not for the being 'stoned' exceptance how about 'judging' instead, try Matthew7:1,2, Romans 2:1

Ali I too was baptized due to wanting to be baptized in the name of the father, son and holy spirit. I always felt that it should have been done that way as Jesus ordered. Your points were valid and you used your bible eloquently. You also gave facts in a calm and effective manner. So proud of you. Very glad you went and recorded so people can see the judicial meeting is anything but justice or fair. They're misuse of scripture was glaring. I am glad you showed the true meaning of the scriptures that they were twisting it. You were justified to tell them they were pharisees. They are wrong. It is idolatry. I am 76 and been captive for 50 years and just waking up about the "self-appointed-governing body",wish I knew how to walk away. How did you manage to tape it eventhoigh you shouldn't ? Yes, they would have stoned you if they could have. The Watchtower said that the elders would stone apostates to death if it was permissible by law.... These men are EXACTLY like the pharisees and the words of Jesus in John 8 40- the end of the chapter are perfectly suited to the elders. LOVE that you forgave them to their faces! GREAT JOB!!!!!

Having 'heart' in what I called the truth is what kept me going until the veil was removed from before my eyes! That finished it, could no longer muster anything to continue a lie. Don't understand or know how others can continue in such a lie if their heart is not in it. Though understandably would be hard to lose family within.

Wow! You really did a good job and this should be an eye opener for jehova witnesses that will view your video. Keep strong and enjoy your freedom in Jesus Christ. I am even more glad to have left this cult in January this year after hearing the recording of your JC. They are Watchtower robots, so sad. All the best for you!

The main reason is that I have ptsd so bad that I can’t even think of getting near a Kingdom Hall. I’ve had so many nightmares of being in that building that I won’t even go near the driveway. Anyway, I’m super proud of you!

Ali, you presented yourself in a respectful and loving fashion to this “nonjudicial” meeting. I can’t get over how cold and un-Christ like their approach to you was. Specially because there was no video, we were left to rely on our hearing to get the feel of the room and I think that gave us a better perspective to their approach. You can feel their uncaring ways in which they spoke to you and were not interested in what you had to say. There was definitely no love from them. They are definitely the modern day Pharisees. Let this be just another confirmation that Christ does not have a part in this organization. I wish you peace and love. ❤️✌🏼

I used to be an elder myself, at Bethel also, and I used many of the same reasoning points that you did before I ended up leaving. But I had a really hard time keeping my cool like you did. You actually brought tears to my eyes by your composure. You very clearly do have the Christ in you and I'm extremely proud of a woman like you who fearlessly stands up for the Christ the way you did and do. I kept pointing out the literature to them that what they were doing was not theocratic. Did they come up with another bullshit argument, no brothers, this is not what the literature says, why don't you follow the literature and bethel's instructions? In the end I got the answer that I had to take the reading and instruction too literally.

Wow, when the Elder said he thought you were getting off course, it was telling. What you had said was so profound and the very truth of what it means to be participant in Christ's Church, or a part of his 'organization '. It as as if you had been speaking evil to them. They didn't know how to address it without going through their convoluted teachings of their two class system. I asked on a previous video why you went to this meeting and now it is clear. Well done. They mentioned that they were not Robots. Then why did they say that this was going to be a JC and then decide it wasn't? Did they have a bible text for that or were they merely making that decision because they felt this is the way the GB/FDS wanted them to handle it?

Th JW attitude is to always talk down to people. Which is not an attitude in line with Christ teachings. Keep your eyes on the Bible Truths and allow the Holy Spirit to direct you and lead you to understanding. The teaching on the faithful slave is a parable, not an order of hierarchy... RE Elder Scott. My committee was two older men, elders I'd known at least a decade and one of my best friends (his wife too) from HS who was newly appointed. We had two meetings a week apart, I thought was for me to come up with more repentance. Instead, the meeting was turned over to the my young friend to read to me from a Watchtower volume the riot act and pronounce me DF'd. What a sad way to break in a new elder. Some years later his own daughter was DF'd and he stepped down.

I loved your previous videos but this one takes the cake! You are far too intelligent & strong willed for these men to handle! Everything about this organization from its history, to its ever changing (not in a good way) Watchtower literature & laws emphasizes that you are to worship the Watchtower organization. It really makes me so sad that so many good people are caught up in the Watchtower’s snare. I respect ex-JW’s who become atheist/agnostic & can see why they do. As a liberal, loving, open minded & science believing Christian though I do think it’s wonderful that you’ve held onto the good part of your faith and cut out the bad (the Watchtower). Thanks again Ali for such a great video. I tried to explain to another witness how unreasonable and cold these meetings can be and I was told that I was reading too much into it, I was also told that I was not pre judged going into a meeting like that because of how loving this organization is. You kept trying to reason with them from the scriptures and they could only point to their organization which is constantly changing doctrine. Why cant being united in Christ simply mean that I recognize him as my saviour and am living in a way that shows gratitude. In no way have you denounced Christ and yet you are being treated as if you have! They put words in your mouth and said it was your voice. This video helped me to put into better perspective how ridiculous this organization is. Hang in there Ali.

You did an outstanding job of confronting them: they are baptizing in the name of an organization, not the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit! They do not recognize the authority of the Bible, but again only of a human organization. You clearly have a better understanding of Bible truth than these men who cannot think outside the constraints they accept from the Watchtower. Love your insistence on ‘using your power of reason’ as Scripture itself commends, unlike the automatons following the script of the Organization.

A "change of heart" looks like this: You really miss your friends and family, so you come crawling back, telling them how wrong you were and that you've seen the light and fully embrace every one of JW's teachings, and will never question any of their beliefs ever again. The JW "elders" likely contacted the legal department and determined you being "Disassociated" is the best course of action for the Watchtower organization. You likely could not be "Disfellowshipped" by the elders but claiming you as being "Disassociated" by your actions will still accomplish what they want without having a "Judicial Committee" meeting.
