The life expectancy of the average American is 77.28 years. I am 44 years old. While I don't compare myself to the average person I realize that I'm at an age where health becomes more of a serious issue. I don't care to buy expensive cars or do things to boost my status. What I am focused on is living a long, quality life where I'd be able to play with my grandkids.
One of the ways to make that happen is through my lungs. The biggest correlation between those who die an early death and those who live the longest is the level of their V02 max​.

Wanted to make a correction in the video: The 4x4 training is 4 minutes on with 3 minutes off. You do this 4x for a total of 28 minutes. Also, for zone 2 cardio it's 180 minutes a week :) Hope this clears up any confusion.😅

Dan, at 6:52, you mentioned that the objective is to measure the maximum distance one can cover in 12 minutes. However, the numbers you presented measure how long it takes to cover 1.5 miles. At 7:25, you stated ‘180 minutes of zone 2 cardio per day,’ but I believe you meant to say 180 minutes per week. I’d like to thank you for the great content you’ve been sharing in your videos and posts.

For most people? Yes.

honestly just walk, brisk walking is all you need, I am 51 my cardio is not that good, so i switch my weight lifting from heavy to higher rep with lower weight and its working best of both world. For cardio i shadow boxe and walk when i can.

Randomly, could this work with boxing and bag work? I'll do running first, but I'm always curious about guys like Mayweather, etc. Condition leads out to the deep water.

@@danfounder thanks for clarification and correction. I was wondering why even call it 4x4 when we had 4min work, 3 rest, and 8 rounds. And once I calculated the time, I was convinced it can't be...way too long for interval training even if it's once a week
