Lots of fun stuff coming up! White Zombie is not a typical zombie movie but I enjoy it. I think it’s worth a watch especially for comparing it to movies through the years. Looking forward to seeing what drinks you make. Have a fun month!

Excellent picks for May!👍Eco horror - ooo, I'm looking forward to hearing what you make of those, particularly A Botanical Daughter and The Beauty (they're both on my wish list). I really enjoyed In Bloom - great little short story, full of atmosphere. The Wonders sounds fabulous - that's going on my wish list, Victorian circus and freak show culture fascinates me. And Buffy - awesome! It's my No.1 all-time favourite series, I've lost track the amount of times I've watched it. It's my ultimate comfort viewing these days. Okay so I DNFed A Botanical Daughter 😂 It's definitely giving big Victorian cottagecore vibes BUT it was just taking FOREVER to get to the frankenstein retelling parts that intrigued me so much. I guess I just have no patience 😂

I didn't even know about these other readathons and now I'm going to check them out! 2:14 "The use of mushrooms" 👀👀 SGJ is hit or miss for me to, I want to get to My Heart is a Chainsaw soon Tarot sounds awesome, I'm also excited for the new Strangers movie coming out in May. The OG was definitely traumatizing when I was younger lol I enjoyed this video format! Because you are part of so many things it's fun to learn about them too and see what you're planning for videos

I recommend Night of the Living Dead. It's such a great classic. I've turned it on many late nights for a cozy feel. I would love to see the L.A.Trip. I'm trying to finish my bathroom mural. it's been hectic with the wedding coming up. Happy Halfway to Halloween!

It's such a nice complement to traditional sprints that privilege productivity🌻 I have such high hopes for Stopmotion and its creepy factor 🧶And you've probably already read it, but I had someone recommend A Choir of Ill Children to me when I was looking for carnival stories. Haven't read it yet but definitely intendeding too And yay for being experimental-I really enjoyed this video!👻

I have never even heard of A Choir of Ill Children!! It looks like its a southern gothic with swampy vibes? Color me intrigued!! 👻 And I am so glad that you liked this kind of video. Idk why I put this stress on myself to share everything that I am getting up in my downtown on my channel but this helps me feel like I can go about my business during the month without having to create content on everything later down the road. Honestly, people prefer TBR videos to reviews from what I notice 😂

Great plans for May! One Cut of the Dead is a Japanese zombie, kind of found footage, horror comedy that came out in 2017. Another great foreign language movie is Terrified. An Argentine film from 2017. It is a supernatural movie overall, but has a bit of zombie sprinkled in.

Awesome video! I am looking forward to participating in both Horror Mayhem and Zombiethon in May! I will keep the Escape The Readathon event in mind for next year. 😀Those covers are wild! I love books about clowns and carnivals. Night Of The Living Dead is such a classic but I will always prefer Dawn Of The Dead, one of my favorite movies ever. I think I will re-watch Shaun Of The Dead for the 1000th time. 😂 When I think of games I think of Left For Dead 2, gory, bloody fun for the whole family, or perhaps Plants vs Zombies, so tame and so fun...and it has sunflowers! Also learned about two new readathons now too, ill be keeping those on my radar for next year 👀 Loveee the change of scenery for the sections. I am definitely intrigued by all three new release movies! Botanical Daughter sounds so good, also no spoilers, but Angel of Indian Lake felt more like the first one to me. Not an urgent suggestion, but iZombie is a super fun series to watch and is full of food. I used to make up recipes inspired by the show and blog them. Oh I love those video ideas! Oh gosh Shaun of the Dead would be a fun one if you haven’t watched it yet.

Yup, you were so spot on. Angel is the exact same as Reaper but add in the Jade POV of Chainsaw. Needless to say, I did not like it 😂 And I really wish I did. I am seriously so heart broken!!

Okay so the thing about me is that I am finding I don't like the suspenseful zombie movies and shows. I need some comic relief 😂 So I only got a few seasons into the Walking Dead and I just don't think I can handle the tension in The Last of Us 😂

The Beauty by Aliya Whiteley is a fave of mine and people don’t talk about it enough! I hope you enjoy it! I read A Botanical Daughter last month and gave it 4 stars, not really scary but the vibes and setting were immaculate!!

Ohh what an exciting month! I'm super interested in hearing your thoughts about The Night Circus (I've been thinking about reading it but not sure if I'll it), as well as the non-fiction book, which btw reminded me of a book called Geek Love which I've heard is super messed up but really good. Also, have you read Carni by R St. Claire because that's also an option? Also I'm too nervous to read pts. 2 and 3 of Indian Lake because I love My Heart Is A Chainsaw soo much!

Ooo I have never heard of Carni! I will definitely check that one out! Alsooooo I finished the Indian Lake Trilogy and, uhhh, I am depressed at how much I disliked the books more and more as I got into the series. 😂 I am so heartbroken!!! But Katrina loved them all so definitely give it a shot to see where you fall. I'd actually be so curious!
