Narcissists and the Next Supply 

I'm beginning to realize that the person I fell in love with was not a real person at all. She was a character built to pull me in. I think that's the hardest part - it's hard to grieve the loss of someone that never truly existed in the first place.

The new supply can have him. I feel sorry for her, because I know what she will go through and what the end result will be.

It's quick because that person was already there! So many times I had suspicions of him cheating. If I confronted him about it - rage fits! Confirmed...

I actually feel sorry for the New Supply because she has no idea what she's getting herself into. Like I did, but thank God I realised in time before Iost myself for good and left.

It is just a "show" The new supply is just another source of supply, the flavor of the moment...

I went through numerous devaluation cycles over thirty years. Once I realised what was going on I decided to dump him so I did. He had already picked up with a woman from Tinder he is 56!! I am recovering well with wonderful family and friends support… he has no one except …the new supply. I have distanced myself from his family gently and I have him blocked all contact through solicitors. I feel FREE

The desperate desire of the Narc is to leave you high and dry, that's what he gets satisfaction from, don't let him!! It's a game!

My "husband" has been with other women my entire relationship. Each time I have confronted him I've been told "I'm looking for trouble". I always backed down because of the gaslighting and the fact that I never had any real proof...only my intuition. When I finally got the proof, I have tried on multiple occasions to kick him out but he refuses to leave. I am now looking for a place and I hate myself for being stuck in this situation because this was MY apartment and he has not paid so much as a dime for the rent. He cares so little for my feelings that he actually carries on his multiple relationships right in front of me, always yelling at me to "shut my mouth" or "stop looking for trouble" when I say anything, and so I have to endure this until I can find a place that I can afford. I get the pleasure of watching him get dressed up and put on cologne to go see his girlfriend....every Sunday. Every week he "stays late" at work and never gets paid..... but I am never allowed to say something, God Forbid I don't answer the phone when he calls or give him the loving response to his bullshit texts about how much he loves me..... I can't stand it. These videos are so helpful for me because I have been blaming myself for everything.

The final betrayel and abuse was his new supply is a young woman sitting in prison for the next 5 yrs. He kept telling me they were just friends. Compared her to me, yeah right, a lifetime drug addict trying to hurt me and make me jealous. I left him. I don't play his sick games done with this.

It’s been two years, and I dreaded this I thought to myself I’m never going to get over him I’m not going to move on… but, now I’m starting to notice that’s not the case it’s the fact that he was a false sense of self I really fell inlove with myself and in the process lost myself the more I remember who I am and my core values and beliefs of course growing and evolving but, the more I know learn myself again and enjoy the process the better this will become and it won’t be a race to get to get over him but, a race to enjoy the process and be grateful it’s over and he’s actually out of my life and having him in my life was a blessing I know now what I don’t ever want again I will not settle again no matter who the person is and I know what a narcissist is and how evil people are present in this world doesn’t have to be a demon they can be a attractive guy with a true face I say all this to say Trust your Intuition and you got this ladies and gentlemen I’m a mother and a believer that if you just shift your mentality anything is possible seriously you will get over them! They're doing all the right things and the things you've asked for because they are love bombing the new supply. We let them know what women/men need and want, so they mask it for the new supply. Their relationship will fail because people are different and part of intimacy is emotional growth, knowing the person and having empathy, something they don't have.

I don't know much about what my husband is doing with the secretary from his work other than he's shacked up with her. I'm not on social media thank God. Honestly, I'm so hurt that I don't want to see him or hear about him until divorce court. I need major healing

This behaviour is actually why I finally went no contact. It’s not that I wanted him back but the fact that he went out of his way to try to make me feel bad about this new relationship, that really repulsed me. I realised that even friendship wasn’t possible with him and I never looked back. I highly recommend to just pay them no attention anymore. It feels great. :)

Also ask your friends to not share updates &/or ask them to block/unfriend them

Ben, you made me laugh at the oh this is my 20th relationship but this is the one!! I remember when we started dating 15 years ago I was absolutely appalled how many women's earrings and jewelry and such-and-such were up under his bed I remember that being a red flag but I didn't listen To my gut!

With mine it was a deliberate attack to hurt me in a very malignant way to destroy my self esteem. Here’s a little story: When I was with the narcissist I conveyed to her that one my favorite hobbies was music and playing guitar. I didn’t play in a band but I played and practiced frequently because I really enjoyed it. Well guess who the narcissist picked as a new target after the discard…..She picked a guy who played guitar in a cover band that played the same music I liked to play. So I got to experience all that love bombing and pictures of them together at his shows and her saying things like I love the way he plays guitar , he’s so amazing etc… It was absolutely brutal to see that as I was going through the trauma bond withdrawal. I swear to God I was ready to kill. It twisted me up so bad that I was seriously considering revenge. And I’m talking violent revenge. That’s how dangerous and hurtful a narcissistic relationship can be. I stopped listening to music completely for almost a year and didn’t even look at my guitar for like 2 years. I’m over it now and realize how childish it all was but when I was caught up in it it was torture. I eventually had to block her and deactivate all my social media. I unplugged from everything and just focused on healing myself. It was quite an experience. I will never allow myself to go through that again.

I just had that experience. Should fly to my girlfriend and she canceled it and I found out I was replaced. She playing the victim but for me it was a “bless” said goodby and wished here luck and blocked all communication lines and deleted all pictures of here on my systems. Than she still send some flowers with a little message with “feeling sorry and I love you” just a narcissistic game. I already find more rest and peace so the bad thing brought something positive as well 😮

We were in what should have been our honeymoon phase, when I was replaced, he left emotionally, but stayed physically to abuse me.

I thought I was crazy especially when trying to explain to others that it feels like he stole my hopes and dreams, went and did everything I wanted and then rubbed it in my face. My friends said that I was jealous. That of course was another layer of trauma not getting any support from friends and being criticized. A complete mind F*** all around. He stole my character traits and basically became ME to seduce the next person and used it to continue to hurt me. All I ever did was try to love this freak and have healthy communication.

thank you for this great explanation. 98%-99% you said perfectly happened to me. now i understand deeper,, and get confirmed that i had been through with narc r/ship. i was discarded after 14 years of marriage and within 3 yrs after, he got 2 replacement supplies . the transactions cycle become faster and faster depending how long the new supply can stay in "the hell" . and the best thing was ex got financially supported in getting new supplies by his pure devil parents .

Two and a half years interacting daily with such a person. It's beffudling. He lost his partner in life (me) and his friend and partner in business when his mask came off. Anyone who sees them for who they are, won't want to stick around someone who completely lacks in morals and ethics. We're both grieving a huge loss but for the best. I'm almost healed and his best friend started a new business as his direct competitor. You've got to love karma!

Carl used to tell his family n friends how wonderful I was . He praised me up all the time. Never wanted to leave me behind always wanted me with him. Told me where he goes I'll always be with him except for work. He always made me feel I was a princess, very special, the best of anyone he's ever been with and so on.......until he started realizing that I was starting to catch on to him being Obsessed in having to look at every woman and was of trying to be noticed. Later i noticed that He would even take me to places where he was attracted to other women. It didn't take long for me to catch on to what he was doing. I paid more attention to what he was doing and realizing it wasn't about me. It was ALL about him. Next thing I know is his daughter Shawna wants nothing to do with me. Her and her husband and daughter brley loved me so much that Shawna wrote carl a letter about how happy she was that Carl found someone who really loved him and how she will not have to worry about him because I did soooo much for him and enjoyed everything together. But somewhere something changed and she demanded that CARL Never brings me around there home again. What a mess. He didn't care about what she said and took me over anyway. I told him That, that is not a good idea but he drove over there anyways . When she seen his truck pull into the driveway she called him and I heard her say I told you never to bring that F..ken B...H over here . He said to her if kathy is not welcome then I'm not welcome you'll never see me again then pealed out of the driveway. I could go on and on with his sneaky ways. To this day I don't know what happened to why she wants nothing to do with me.

It hurts so bad I cry everyday I really thought my partner loved me and they discarded me like I was nothing after a year and half 😢 I tried to do everything right.why me but I went no contact but I am still hurting.

I feel bad for her, my kids really like her, and I know she's getting the treatment I got after the love bombing but the difference is they are married and she's from another country. Completely isolated from her friends and family. She's not working, so she's isolated from everyone except him and my kids when they visit every other weekend. I've never met her, but she treats my boys well and I pray that she's ok.

Mine approached him at a pizza shop in front of me. Then i saw them at our hiking spot her and i met at and hiked together everyday a month after we broke up. Acted like i didnt see her even though she was in his car 2 vehicles over from me. She was trying to hide from me seeing her as i had to walk right past them. That same week she contacted me and we talked all day on the phone with her asking me if i wanted to be friends with benefits. She denied being with someone new smh. Shes a serial cheater that clearly wants to sleep w multiple people at the same time..

When I was able to move out of Carl's place, his new supply Becky would call and ask is she still there, is everything okay..... he made sure I heard her. I told him tell her I'm leaving soon...... when they were saying there good byes they told each other love you so that tells me he has been with her for awhile. And I've just moved out not even a week . He and the lady next door to us also had something going on . That's another sneaky story. Carl told me I'd better not be talking to her husband about anything or else .Come to find out her and her husband separated ,and I didn't say anything I gave it to the Lord to take care of it , and apparently he did.

The female narcissist that I was with off and on for three years, I broke it off in May 2023, about 6 to 7 months later she was with another person very involved. would she still be considered a narcissist because she did have quite a few traits it just took her 6 to 7 months to get somebody else. And I know she’s love bombing him. They are not on social media and she’s kind of keeping it hush-hush a bit, so is she still considered a narcissist?

Do they do the same thing with each person? I mean, all supply one after the other have to face the same thing or the chain breaks sometimes?

I fell in love with Mr. Right then I had surgery which he insisted on being there for. He treated me like complete shit disregarding my healing process then goes way to see his Mom for the weekend and sleeps with his ex. Comes back and confesses to me and apologizes but ask for a month to figure it out. I threw him out of my house and my life. He came back 2 months later and begged for another chance stating had to go back to know what he really wanted. Sorry, but that’s true. Sorry but that straight bullshit you don’t have to sleep with someone to know that you want to be with them. My stupid ass took him back moved in with him as he requested to only find that nine months later, he was trying to get back with another ex I then realized months after I was not happy, and I needed to lead the relationship he is still hovering, and I am done, I don’t understand why I fell for the bullshit. I guess my love was real and his wasn’t yet he still tells me he will always love me. What is wrong with people?
