Then it was Why you have so many sneakers? Why you was your clothes? Why you change your bedsheets every 2 weeks? Your room is always clean.. Why you save your money? Mind you I had a Minimalist lifestyle I don’t have anything special and love books. They could be jealous of anything. Don’t let them sabotage you with their “advice”. It’s not advice cause they are not really helping you. They just want to drain you with their projection and shame.
Hard to diagnose for professionals, due to a lack of opportunity to carry out the diagnosis (as in NPD affected individuals refuse to accept they have an issue and there's a need for professional help) and/or refuse to acknowledge their behaviour negatively affects themselves and others. I do agree, there's a lack of awareness amongst professionals when it comes to NPD. For those in the know, the chances of achieving positive outcomes through therapy is extremely slim.
