Welcome to our new Narrowboat VLOG on here! Vlog 29!
This week we take you from Anderton marina in Cheshire towards Middlewich as we head for the folk and boat festival.
We travelled along the Trent and Mersey canal and it was new waters for us, and I can honestly say it was just lovely and peaceful. We did pass where we got the boat from which brought back bad memories for us as we didn't have the best experience. But that is all in the past.
We hope you enjoy Tony being part of the videos now...I'm delighted to share his wit with you all.

Nice to see you Tony! Helen your hair looks great. Another use for dock leaves - one that my mother used to say! Dock leaves usually grow near to stinging nettles and if you get stung by the nettles, rubbing dock leaves on your skin will help take away the irritation.

Well, like a true Yorkshireman, Tony speaks economically. Why use two words when one will do? Amazing to watch Tony navigate under that low bridge, he had us all ducking. Then he squeezes his boat between two others like it was nothing. And all this while her indoors looks glamorous with the make up and new hairstyle sitting on the deck commentating. You do make a lovely couple though and Bruce too of course. My guess at Tony's accent puts him firmly from the Leeds loiners area. At least I can understand him. Difficult sometimes with the Lanky twang. But I cope. Thanks for the cruise guys. I am tucked up in bed in a hotel in Melrose in the Scottish borders. My club members and I are playing against Walkerburn PC and Tweed Valley PC on Saturday and Sunday in our annual Home International, so wish us luck. Balls of steel are us. We play in all weather's except thick snow or when it is lightening. Don't want to get caught holding a steel boule when lightening is around. Happy to see you back on your foot and bionic foot and chasing Tony round the boat. xx

Between Murder Bridge and Hells Kitchen Bridge there's a lovely little place to moor for a night on the off-side. It's called Bramble Cutting, only accessible by water and really peaceful.
