Jiwa sportifitas petinju saat itu luar biasa, sy benar - benar terharu melihat mereka saling berangkulan setelah perang usai tdk ada dendam yg tersimpan di hati, BRAVO.
He needs to be in Hof ....self belief is such a large component to have as afighter or in any situation...so when i see a fighter especially a fighter act or be arrogant....n ppl knock u for it....i think its absolutely ridiculous to say...a fighter almost has to be like this...every fivhter is like this some are just more expensive n put it out there n its not tasteful....i think its entertaining i think it gets the fight promotion...we need characters u need pol like gim to shake up the party every character n personality shiuld be welcomed..it makes thing more intresting it gets the fans going
It’s called being a racist.. the ref knew very well Hameds opponent was fucked up but he wanted hamed to hurt him because of his Latin American heritage
@@louiejames626 how the hell have you come to that conclusion? more chance of the ref being racist towards hamed... racism towards arabs/muslims is far more common than towards latin americans, which is almost unheard of here...
Hearing his coach tells u more about what kind of guy Prince really was....he told his. Oach im going to make u rich....self beleif is so important sometimes a loss is more harmful to a really great fighter then a so so fighter ..... because they know they are great n a loss makes u question ur self aome never redeem it some do....but there is doubt in my mind he was ine of the best to do it...great skills power n a showman a entertainer
Dreadful referee. Oh, and agree with what they said prefight. I watched Benn and Mac fight live in 1995 and it was likely in my top five most exciting fights of all time. Two massive punchers in a real war. It's such a shame it will only ever be remembered for the tragic outcome. I've never seen a replay of it on TV, but it can be seen on youtube still.
@@scottb32a True. I watched a documentary on him a while ago and at the time he was still very disabled, living in virtual poverty being cared for by his sister. Not an end for such a good champion.
Jim Whatt was all over it b/c he was a fighter, and he knew what he was looking at, but that referee should’ve been in the least retrained but dismissed would’ve been my decision to pass dow. Like, referees are in there to protect guys, not send them home in a box. it’s almost like he was influenced by frank Warren‘s facial expression after that first left hook knockdown. Then Frank Warren jumping out of his chair when he saw that the referee didn’t stop the fight. It wasn’t out of concern for the other fighter it was him being worried about getting sued.
They said that because of the McClellan fight the weekend before in the uk. Obviously the sport didn’t need any disasters. That last punch was unnecessary
this was a short time after the eubankv watson fight which ended with watson being disabled from a brain injury. The focus was on not letting fighters continue if they were clearly beaten . it was a sensitive time and jim watt commentating felt the lad was done and it shouldnt have continued.
@@greigarmstrong1603 it was actually the week after the Benn v McClellan (as Jim Rosenthal mentions at the start) and to follow that up with this knock out basically led to ITV withdrawing from boxing for a while.
@@jvtaxi3766 Naseem fght against alot of great fighters and win and if he was not injured and train for barrera he would ko him in the first round and if he they rematch 10 times nassem would will the 10 fights
