What's up guys Jeff from Sorta Healthy here! In today's video we'll be reviewing the NASM physique and bodybuilding coach certification course. This is the third NASM reviewed course that we've reviewed on our trusty trainer education tier list!
How will this NASM bodybuilding course compare to other certification courses? Stay tuned to find out!
In typical NASM fashion, there we're things that we liked, and didn't like about this course, but there's no doubt that this certification in particular has some issues.
Does this course contain valuable information?
Does this bodybuilding certification prepare you to work with bodybuilders effectively?
Will you be able to use skills taught in this course in the real world?
Will this bodybuilding certificate help get you a job or clients?
Is the NASM physique and bodybuilding coach certification worth it?
In watching this video, you should be able to answer all of those questions for yourself.
Here's the video link to the 100 day bodybuilding challenge that Alexis and I completed for those interested: • We Trained Like Bodybu...

Thank you 🙏 for your reply and I also saw your suggested video. It is 👍 great. But the problem is that I m already working with bodybuilders from 12 years but now in our country we need certificate that's why I was planning to a bodybuilding certification from a good institute so please could suggest me any one 🙏

I have my NASM CPT, and was thinking of just getting my certs through NASM since I got my CPT already, but I already know how NASM tends to do more review and bit outdated. I was thinking about getting this and now after seeing this video and reading some of the comments I am kind of stuck between the two. Are there different companies, or courses you'd recommend?

Hey Colston, I’ve got a bunch of review videos on different certs and there will be more on the way soon! As far as what I recommend goes, it really depends on you. Here’s the playlist where I review courses if you’re interested: ru-vid.com/group/PL8u1BTeFRGHuQG5zqdlwZ_A1lSj74EH3w&si=CoFTC_7eEMnmz3s0

I am in this course currently and I was very bothered by the fact that they just regurgitated information. I wish they would have gone more indepth about the anatomy and nutrition but I am hoping to get something out of this course. Maybe review NASMs CNC?
@SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
@SortaHealthyTrainerEducation 7 месяцев назад
Thanks for the support and feedback! Definitely a little too much review in there and not enough new bodybuilding stuff. We’ll cover the CNC at some point too!

How many cpt do you have from other companies? I currently have this one but haven’t completed it yet, but have completed the Nasm cpt. I was also looking into taking the nsca cpt, and the acsm cpt to see what kind of information I can extract from them.

If you already have NASMs base certification I wouldn’t bother with any other companies base certification. I would look into a nutrition coaching course or a movement based course. NASM has some options there but so do other companies as well

I have done my cpt from other instute but I was thinking about doing this course from NASM after seeing this video I m confused what to do and which institute would be best for me.

I would do a course relevant to the type of clients you want to train. If you want to train bodybuilders this one may still be an ok fit. I’d recommend a nutrition course if you haven’t done one of those already.

I purchased it and life got on the way I try to cancel it online before grace period but wasn’t able to and they told me you can cancel only through the phone and they end up charging me for CES and Body Building course

Well the CES course is pretty good. This bodybuilding one is meh but even so, there’s some decent info in there and it will help you with your CEC’s.

What did you think of the exam? Was it easy or challenging for you? Is it open book?
@SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
@SortaHealthyTrainerEducation 6 месяцев назад
It was middle of the road in terms of difficulty. It was open book though, so most people will pass with some studying.

Is it better to take the ncca test certification rather than the non proctored test for nasm?

Oops just saw your vid about it

Thanks for the support! Ya that video sums up my thoughts on it. I think proctored is the way to go for pretty much everyone eventually. The open book, non proctored one can be a good initial step though.

Can you please make a video on how to train a person with cancer
@SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
@SortaHealthyTrainerEducation 7 месяцев назад
I might release a video like this at some point. The only reason I haven’t is there are a lot of variables such as what type of cancer, what stage, what kind of treatment they’re going through/been through, etc.

I just finished this course. It was truly boring! I passed the test on the first attempt. It was truly awful. However, I was able to retain lots of information when it comes to powerlifting competitions yet, feels like not enough.
