This is a rather long "Watch Labguy Work" video today. I rework the hand wired circuit board for the camera. All aimed at improving the deflection circuits for more drive current capability. The purpose of this video is to provide an opportunity for people with little construction experience to learn a few new techniques that they can take away for their own use.

There are so many 30 second "Look what I did" videos on youtube with zero information as to HOW it was done or developed.Your videos are refreshingly different in that respect Labguy. Thanks for sharing.

that is so strange. it looks like you pull back the wire covering, solder the connection and then slide the covering to the joint. I have never seen anyone do that before. That is creative.

That's a very time consuming bit of point-to-point wiring! Could this circuit be wire wrapped? Great presentation. Looking forward to seeing Felix on the CRT!

Yes. It could be wire wrapped. But, this method is compact, 1/3 the cost and has the lowest stray capacitance of any other hand wired method. I have been using this technique for 30 years now with great success.
