I would still try it out. Playing the game without any bias from other people is the best way to enjoy whatever you can and then drop it if you don't like it later on.
The UID being there actually serves the purpose of players having the chance to see the number used to befriend content creators (more people might pick the game up when they see the chance to literally directly interact with their fav. streamer/content creator) as well as rooting out stupid people uploading leak material as well as abusing glitches, gamebreaks and bugs. Emphasis on stupid people because everyone with a BRAIN literally just cuts them out or censores them.
I also want to add you can gift people with premium currency using their UID. So rather than donating on their stream you can donate via the game to give them more pulls which is better for the game developers since they get the money instead.
I honestly would like if there's an online lobby where you can meet other people in the city. It would be such a waste to have that big of a world with just you in it. But of course I wouldnt want progression to require multiplayer, just the option to go to a public lobby and play the claw game with random people, or maybe race in the streets.
I think what he was confused about is why the UID have to display at the bottom of the screen all the time. And when chat said "honkai impact 3rd doesn't have it" I think they refered to how honkai 3rd doesn't show at the bottom like all these game.
@@slushrai it's a gacha game, it's gonna have terrible monetization that's just part of the course, just ignore the monetization and focus on the actual game itself, then you decide whether it's good or bad
There is still hope it can be like Blue Archive. Everyone was dooming the game because it was from Nexon, but they made an incredible game because developers have guts to stand their ground and make a good product first
If you look at the map design close enough, it looks expansive. Which means there will likely be updates that increases the size of the world or at least changes it to some degree. I'm extremely hyped about that. Imagine being able to play an expanding GTA San Andreas. Sign me the F up
I am curious why one wold use a vehicle when this Spiderman mechanic exists, at least from what is shown it appears much faster and you don´t have to worry about obstacles as much. More important will be how live filled the city will be, that will be seen on release.
Having variety is better. Not everyone care about being faster or obstacles. Wish it have different modes. A super speed roller skates like Air Gear would be cool.
I really hope they actually do what Genshin did, as you said build a good game first than add Gatcha. Which would be better without the last step, but it is what it is, it pays for building the game and constantly updating it, that's why Genshin can churn out content constantly. Make money, invest money into making more money.
Game graphically looks amazing, but they literally took the mechanics of navigation with Spiderman into this game lol, I mean I'm fine with it, but it's not impressive enough because it's not an original idea - not to mention it looks almost like a copy-pasted mechanic with the movements - though I may be wrong until someone does side-by-side comparisons
So basically what chat imply, Honkai is a perfect game for a long time. So perfect nobody in my workplace talk about it, Arknights and Epic Seven had way more active viewers on Twitch as well. Why is that? I just heard about it when StarRail taken over Streams through Ads. Or is it just vocal minority thing in every media?
I hope this is good and had Console port as well. Don't be gatekeep like ToF does and let player move around as they please. I do like Spiderman and this game reminds me of that so please be a good game. Btw who compare this to Genshin? It doesn't make any sense, as usual. Compare it to GTA is not bad and ZZZ as well cuz of Character Designs and Settings... but Genshin? Are they on coke? 😂
No matter how "good" their games is (eg. naraka, onmyoji) Netease always suck ass in global management. it only retain niche playerbase after the honeymoon period and never get to mainstream "gamer" sphere let alone normie.
i think netease is bad with glb marketing. but naked rain address is in SG and it's new, idk how far they will change in the management. but yeah, overall marketing for netease is bad for glb. but, i think in the end, if they manage for somewhat popular it's because they manage to create fanbase, if the fanbase is very loyal, even with bad marketing, the game will keep going. look at nikke, BA, azurlane, fgo. they don't really have solid glb marketing (maybe nikke does) but solid fanbase, they manage to keep going for long run
