Neekos disguise seems kinda obvious once opponent sees you protecting the random injured 2/1 instead of just blocking with it. Alternatively, you could feign Neeko by protecting some random 2 drop to make your opponent spend removal on it 🧠

The latin american VA of Neeko died a couple years ago and in the latin amercian reveal the new VA of Neeko says: "I will take care of your shoma ancient voice"

Neeko looks like the first Runeterra champion that you actually want to play in any region, Demacia with the rally, Noxus for rally and overwhelm etc. I know bard, ryze, etc but they are kinda specific with the support region

I can see it now. Three months down the line and there is a new Sunny video of Neeko Zoe where he totally didn't win using elusives, he promises. But for real Neeko really looks like a Sunny card with all the deck flexibility building options

You can still do Elites Neeko, just be Demacia for your other champion. You would have easy access to Elites which are a subtype, and you can give her Scout.

7:15 On top of Neeko's Shapeshifter and all Neeko's origin subtypes, you can also play Poro, Cultist, Darkin, Weaponmaster, Yeti and Yordle in Freljord, for a total of 14 subtypes and that's assuming your Deck Hunters won't summon more. That means easy +14/+14 from Warden of the Tribes. 9:25 I dunno. You can play for example turn 1 - Pouty Poro (Poro), turn 2 - Spider Neeko (Spider), turn 3 - Yeti Yearling (Yeti) and Deck Hunter (Cat), turn 4 - Fleetfeather Tracker (Bird) and Rimefang Wolf (Dog), so turn 4 Neeko level up Neeko is feasable.

I feel like its pretty easy to make a Neeko deck. you take all the best cards that are good already and fit Neeko’s Origin, and then pair her with a region/origin that already is good and has a subtype

I feel like the fact you get to play junk contruct in a neeko deck is pretty damn good

Either elites or yordles I feel are most likely the best options for Neeko. Personally I feel like yordles are probably the most likely to enjoy a ton of random subtypes rather then elites, and in the process you also activate the effects of cards like yordles in arms and buster shot if you possibly want them.

i thought of freljord with poros, elnuks and yetis. you kinda can spam them on the board and draw them quiet fast + freljord has some protection for their units. may not be the best, but another idea and fun to try P.S. I forgot the dogs and weaponsmiths too. so there are some cool ways to play a lot of big, cheap units

If neeko was all subtypes she would overlap with Kayn, Jax and (redacted).

I'm still debating on the second region. Part of me wants to keep her with nidalee so its just shurima. Which isn't necessarily bad since you do have access to staple tools (quicksand, rite of negation, predicts etc) Oh and you do have access to two cheap 1 drops, reaper of the sands and that cultist rat. I'm also looking at bandle city tho... access to large amount of spells/tools and minimorph. Idk will try different decks. Don't think i will do warden or elites tho...

So you can go demacia with her, and if you draw 2 of her, feel free to play her non-camuflaged at beginning for one extra unique different subtype.

I kinda like Freljord for Neeko. Darkin Spear is a good way to both ensure your subtype creatures can attack safely and buff up your future creatures. Freljord gets top tier unit protection with elixir of iron and here to help. Wildclaw Ferocity could be a surprise finisher, turning one of your many weak early subtype creatures into a big overwhelm unit that is a cat so still gets buffed by Neeko. Gnar would be the obvious second champ. It would have to be a completely proactive deck with almost no interaction though, which could be a problem but seems to be what Neeko wants to be in anyway since she gets no spells from her Origin.

Would you consider making a video on the deck building process for Neeko-Demacia deck? I think it would be great learning material since I really like playing decks I build myself. I recently hit Plat 1 using Master Yi even though my master friend says he's bad :D

i was really hoping the neeko shapeshifter was like the one in magic the gathering, making them be all the subtipes, but i think it would be broken, by example with the spell who lvl up ascended champs, but its a need to point the "disguise" word its have an mechanic we dont read directly yet, and probably more cards would have the disguise ability to.

I could see this subtype and buff deck like playing Poppy & Neeko on board.

I feel like people are underestimating neeko as a champ card a little bit. She can turn into any 2 mana cost creature with her origin and play their effect. For example the solari sunhawk. This can potentially make her a good utility champ pre-level up. After leveling up then yea she ends up a bomb you drop in the deck. I also think that she might be giving people zoe vibes where they think she is hard (if anyone remembers the reaction to her champ reveal) to level up but ends up not being as hard as people think. They already gave the 1/3 cat that can manifest units with a subtype even outside of her origin so you could potentially have access to a lot more subtypes than you expect. Overall though she feel very midrange-aggro focused and I'm kinda expecting some kind of strong meta deck to emerge with neeko at the helm.

I feel like the most obvious deck will just be Neeko Demacia, like Monsieur Snnuy says himself, in addition to being atleast a decent deck aswell. For I mean, all we'll be doing is playing our strongest units with diffrent subtypes and then just spam elites for the rest of the game. With this we've placed the opponent in a predicament, they'll have to choose between either removing the already strong units on board or the to-be strong units on board. For the thing is, once Neeko levels, in addition to turn 7 when we drop the Ferocious Fluffs, all our units will be huge either way. To me atleast, this seems pretty strong in theory, but we'll have to see how it fairs in execution!

@Snnuy Neeko counts herself as one of the tipes as shapeshifter ;) if u dont disguise ( plus ascendent counts already as two subtypes but that would be greddy deck )

1 cost bilgewater neeko for sure, you get 4 unique 1 cost subtypes to add, 1 costs benefit the most from everywhere buffs, you even have the 2/2 reptile that makes the 1 costs 0 mana to board flood. You could highroll level neeko turn 3…

Nekko has to be disguiseable only as cards in your deck, because if not you are risking getting 3 options that are so trash and random that you are basically telling the oponent "hey, no human in existence would play this card in this deck, this is neeko".

I am just praying against my better judgement that she isn't broken, I haven't be as exited for a deck in like forever, it looks sooo fun.

I think demacia/frel could be good with her, you can attack with mana open to pressure them not to block or get good trades while stacking neeko fast, also elites with her probably will be insane specially with barriers or form up to protect her

might have been fun if u could re-disguise neeko as an on board ally and decide to swap them or not so u could play shell game with the opponent.

Honestly other than her origin and champion spell, Neeko felt underwhelming to me. Especially compared to Nidalee and her new interesting mechanic, ambush.

I'm not convinced about Neeko Elites. I think Neeko wants to be built like aggro with many 1 and 2 drops so that you can go wide and flip her fast to benefit from her lv2 effect. She also needs a variety of two drops so that you can still benefit from her disguise 🥸 (ideally you disguise her as a follower that's already in your list). Tbh you probably never play Neeko in her lv1 form and you just wait until she's leveled which is kinda sad.

Since nidalee is a cat can you build neeko nidalee and splash a region other than shurima?

Im pretty sure the disguise on Neeko isn’t a secret for the opponent, like they know the Twilit is Neeko, there’s no mystery around it like bush. 1. There’s a special border around Neeko’s Card to indicate it’s her, and to my knowledge we’ve never had a special border that only one player sees. 2. Imagine you play Neeko and you “manifest” a follower from her region. What is your opponent seeing? Anytime a card manifest, you can see what is causing the manifest effect, even if that card may change into something different. So if we assume that Neeko is some type of secret and were to play Neeko, your opponent would see a card back? and you randomly manifest??? They’ll just assume it’s Neeko cause literally no there’s card does something like that. It would just be dumb. 3. I’m pretty sure “disguise” is similar to transform, with a few key exceptions. Most importantly i think being that the card keeps certain attributes like being a champion and the name Neeko. So that way if you play Neeko, she turns into Twilit, it’s not like you can play another Neeko, cause you already have one on board. As well as effects that care about champions. Like if i were to play Soothsayer, Neeko would still get spellshield, disguised or not

why not just a classic midrange demacia that really like to attack with neeko as 2nd region, forget about the new card, just bring the best one for midrange demacia and try to keep it as diverse as possible

6:45 I think you won't get the summon effect, cuz it's "create". Thus far there hasn't been any cards that "create" cards straight onto the field, at least to my knowledge. Only cards that summon other cards to the field. Like production surge. I'm sure they specified "create" because summon effects that cost only 3 along with protecting your unit seem way too strong.
