Really gajab ka coincidence. Today I gave lift to 80 years old uncle. I dropped them till their doors. He stopped me and started crying and beta Bhagwan tume bahot lambi aur tarkki wali umar de. I said uncle you stop crying. He started saying I am retired person get very pensions from the government. My both the sons migrated abroad and trying to please me by sending money. What I should with this excess money. I gave support to them for their education and I stood behind them for 28 years and when I need that they should stand behind me. Is my expectations wrong? I couldn’t answer. But felt very sad.

Bhar jaane ke reason :- 1. Wapas a sakte h kabhi bhi dollar kamake agar india me bhaut opportunity considering foreign me white collar job kr rhe h app. 2. Reservation syestem is killing a lot of dreams of general male. 3. Too much competition for even decent level education. 4. Even after all the strugle job pay is not decent. (Purchasing power is same but we should also consider quality of life also) 5. Work culture in jobs is not good in india.

Sir Ji, please do not compare middle class with children of industrialists. Ambani, Birlas or Adanis. Their next genration has to manage their empires in India. Opportunities for middle class are certainly scarce even today because of population explosion and quota restrictions at every level. Many MBAs and graduate engineers struggle to get decent jobs. Leave aside aspirants with less education. Unless you jump into waters you don't get it's depth. Again the overseas life is not easy as you are looked upon with no skills. One has to prove one's merits. Those who want to venture they can certainly test the waters. Every one knows that India is a bigger market, people acquiring new skills abroad can certainly come back and thrive in India. Since returnees know best out of both the world's, they can deliver better. I will encourage youth to break the barriers.

Now if he feels that he has worked enough in his life and has managed to save money for his family and retirement then what's the problem? Hello Sir, your point about the hospital waiting period is correct. But to be honest, you don’t get sick easily as the quality of air, water and food is great. Since medical is free in Canada, so the waiting period for a surgery can be a bit longer but for other medical emergencies its not bad. Your point about purchase parity is correct but which company would pay you Rs 50000/- per month in North India😂 may be a small percentage. On average, everybody earns living wage from day one in Canada/Australia/US with respect. Is it possible in India for a middle class? You point about happiness is correct but how can you bring happiness without money. Every relation needs money in today’s world. Otherwise its tough to stay bonded. Except parents(small percentage). Canada/Australia/US provides endless opportunities to middle class to explore and grow which is tough to do in India as rich people don’t allow the lower middle class to compete. Your point about education is correct. But STEM jobs are the same all over the world. So it doesn’t matter where you studied. How much an average engineer earns in North India? Rs 15000/- per month. Itne ka to Petrol lg jaaye ga bicchare ka. Ek cleaner, maid kbhi rich ni ho skti/skta India me but here its 100% possible even with these jobs

Youth especially middle class went out to study, because of frustration. Education is all about memorizing without creativity and originality. Then comes the frustration due to not getting into decent education institutions due to marginal marks or reservations policy. After that comes competitive exams, govt jobs which are few. Foreign universities do not conduct entrance exams and don't have reservations. Jobs are there in plenty so a child eventually settles down even while studying as he earns money. He learns to value Money and savings. Job market becomes global as now he is ready to find job in an international level. He learns to cook and become independent. Plenty of Indians abroad in each and every country, community living is possible. In other words a child gets a chance to see and survive in a wider world. So sir don't just preach. Economy is a roller coaster ride and society refuses to accept that we are globalized now. Why on earth do we not have dual citizenship in this country where everyone is crying about brain drain? Growth in education and job sectors is very limited. Beyond this, those who can, choose to move abroad for several more reasons than career or to show off. 12 saal pehle ye showoff hota hoga ab nhi, ye show off bolne wale log ek bar akar dekhen ki immigrant hona kya hota hai. About lonely parents, loneliness is not just being alone also it's not just the older generation that suffers loneliness. Bacche bas pados mein ya ghar par rhe par agar kisi aur state mein reh raha ho to kya lonely nhi hote parents? How many of these parent's left their own parents in villages themselves .

Very nice topic and I feel every one commenting should share their personal experiences mentioning the name of place so that it helps others....before sending your Kids abroad please check all Aspects 1.like economic condition of Country where he/she studying...so that they get a proper job after completing degree 2.for Canada...please do a proper research because there are lot of frauds happening there....and the climate there is not suitable ...anyone not so tough will be forced to come back 3. In case if planning to comeback to India...please check the Credibility of foreign degree in India...how much ROI will it give u ...

Sir, I am from north Delhi & struggled to get my life together for 5 years in india & then settled in USA (18 years now). A lot of things you mentioned are correct. But 1 thing you missed is law and order in New Delhi vs Washington DC. Both are capital of country. So, I have 2 daughters and the images of Nirbhaya still haunt me.

Mr Agrawal, you are absolutely right. DELHI is another level of crime city. In every major city there are crime prone areas and people can mostly avoid those place but in DELHI it can strike anywhere at any time. I would say New York City is similar too.

Well if your daughter is out at 3 AM and flagging down random vehicles for lift, she will get into trouble in any part of the world. I have been in the USA and you get mugged at all times. Do you even look at people on the side walk in the eye when you stop in red lights? For the population we have India is probably one of the safest countries and certainly safer than your USA.

our folks oftencompare the worst case scenario of india with the best case scenario of a foreign country. its a thought defect. see any crime news paper of USA, and the kind of gory crimes that happen in US. In india also there are most very safe pockets and unsafe pockets. like USA.

Those who have good prospects in India will never go abroad.. either people with no options decide to go or super intelligent people like IITians can benefit by going.. others live like a second class citizen abroad.

If you are smart (I was 99.9 percentile for all competitive exams in India - AIR 5000) , definitely go abroad. You can very easily save 1 cr in 1 year after you get a proper software job. No point in pointless struggle in India.
