I know newbies like buying a car that comes with a battery and charger, it seems like a good value to them, but then what happens is two things: 1) the money that would go into the car parts is less, and you pay for a low mAh 2s battery And 2) the manufacturer feels the need to recoup more money from the new customers by having non-adjustable battery compartments, and you're forced into buying rlaarlo proprietary sized batteries at a premium cost And the you get a USB charger that takes 5 hours to charge a 3s 2000 mAh battery. That's not exaggerating, that's how long it took to charge for me.

Superb unboxing once again👍 Really getting in some great kits for 2023. Love the suggestion of ARTR. Really wish more manufacturers would offer that especially for RC's that are not geared to beginners.

I understand you can unscrew the battery retainers from the chassis a put some spacer washer in to raise the retainers up to take larger batteries.

OMG = awesome looking car. I would have never thought that they would bring out a rc car like this. "I'm in" where to buy. Reccomdations on upgrades. 150 metre range is disappointing so a definite radio and receiver change out. This style of car is back in style now, very similar to a pan car/ xray. Definately agree to keep the manual and the original box. Fully engraved chassis plate, that is something special wich you should be very proud of them doing this for you 👏👏👏you deserve it bud. Shim the battery strap to fit a had case. Love it. Keep slapping that box mate.✅✅✅✅✅👍✌

I have really great 3s batts i use in my boats they are 4500mah 60c..they are pretty small actually...i wonder if they would fit..also have 2s 6500 mah batts 90c i use in my high performance boat..thanks for sharing.

Hi I ordered the CF RTRip in the first 500 than a few days ago ordered the CF roller .I will use my dumbro 6 ch radio ordered another receiver.The receiver wire should run along the top brace not the way it is ,

Yeah Riaarlo customer service is Horrible !!! I purchased a AK-917 carbon fiber RTR on 4/29/23 I paid extra for expedited shipping ok on 5/6/23 I got a shipping email so about a week passes so I track it and it says waiting for carrier/DHL to pick up item. So I message DHL and they said Riaarlo only made a electronic email that they could not pick up item, So I message Riaarlo and again and again and again so on and no response nothing to this day about my order WTF Riaarlo??? I will never purchase anything from them again !!!!!!!!!!!!

This model is clearly based off the Porsche 917k endurance race car that was developed in 1969 for races like the 24 hr or Le Mans. So yeah, not a super modern design. I will give credit where due and say it is a very nice looking reproduction. However, I would be surprised if they don't catch any flack from the Porsche given the stark similarities of this unlicenced rc. The irony is that Porsche developed the model so quickly and made it so light and powerful, that although it was the fastest car in the races, it was nearly uncontrollable and they had to re-design it the following season. Let's see if the same holds true for the 1/10 scale version.

This car is a failure. No where near the speed it claims.

It's a toy, not really a high end R/C on road car
