UPDATE: Check out the full review of the New Balance FuelCell Rebel v2 here: • New Balance FuelCell R...
The Rebel v2 shares several characteristics with New Balance’s top-of-the-line racing shoes like the FuelCell TC and FuelCell RC Elite. It has a generous stack of New Balance’s soft and bouncy FuelCell foam, a lightweight upper, and is very light in general, coming in at just over 200g in a UK size 9.
What the Rebel lacks is a carbon plate, which makes it more suitable for everyday use, something back up by its relatively low price compared to the New Balance TC and RC Elite.
Run Tester Nick has been for a first run in the Rebel v2, covering 22km for his Sunday long run, and in this video he gives his early impressions of the shoe.
