Great review. It looks fun. I have the crux 3 so might have to pick this one up for a 1s version 3". As stated by others, you fly great line of sight.

Just a heads up on the version 2 GNB27 connectors warning people there are 'at least some" GNB27 connectors, perhaps counterfeit for all I know but from 2 unrelated reputable suppliers, failing from loose connections that unlike the original version that were very tight when new are so loose they have been causing the charger to shut off with a connection break as well as shutting down in flight especially if the battery moves just bumping the ground lightly. The original GNB27 ver1 connector I reported on had a tight fit new and was using an unusual split female bullet design still shown in some pictures. Very disappointing to see the XT30 now being put on Emax 1S 450mAh 70C HV Lipos for use on sub 20g 1S quads because (I assume) the v2 GNB27 connector it's replacing is unreliable. The v1 GNB27 connector showed innovation as well as hard it is to make small battery connector with GNB trying to create what is really needed for their 1S batteries, and has been needed since day one as the wimpy PH 2.0 and even the red JST are not battery connectors by design. Properly designed battery connectors don't have exposed polarity metal retainer clips and why IMO just the female balance connector on 2> S lipos should be mounted on the battery saving wire weight with the wires out of the way on the charger like some of the 4S Nano-Techs I've used without issue (but no RR like into a wall crash tests).

I love my EMAX stuff, this looks like another winner. Thanks Andy!👍

Looks good! Great video! I've been building a bunch of toothpick type quads lately, They are so fun to fly. They perform really great with very little chance of damaging anything in a crash. I just ordered some of the 1s 450mah lipos with the xt30 built into the top. Hopefully I get better flight time with the HD toothpick drones I've built.

Can you use the emax 2s 300mah battery..?

Impressed in general but camera picture quality (light balance and contrast) and jello needs fixing. Maybe a better camera and more rigid canopy.

As usual, great job. Just got the 2 that I ordered in the mail. Just have to wait for my next time off to set it up like you did & go flying. Wish I could solder in a TBS Crossfire or Tracer receiver. D8 fail-safes suck. Maybe a vid showing me how to do it??? God's speed.

Nice review, nice quad. These super silent quads are perfect for flying near urban areas. Love my UZ80 with 2 inch props for park flying. Just the range sucks, this looks better. But the fixed camera angle....

Reminds me of a 1s only crux3. I love my crux3, but love the 2s performance.

i like Emax but their usb ports break right away and they just seem to fall apart quickly. Would like to see better quality.

Great review as always ! But with my QX7 Accees i will get in trouble to bind it cause this neverending software issue with FRSKY. Is it possible to flash the inbuilt rx without desolder? Cheers .

Do you think k this is faster than the Tinyhawk 2 Race 2S 2inch prop version that's a bit older now? Can't decide to fix up or move onto the nanohawk X series, not a huge fan of that cam or the reciever. Older TH2 race has better D8 reciever on it I believe.

So this or the tinyhawk 2 race? Which is faster and nimble for racing?
