I have a black and orange tee shirt with what appears from a distance to be the H-D logo but when you get close it reads "If they built airplanes would you fly in it?"
Great intro catching them in the act (what act I don't know) on camera. If Simon sells that bike, it will be fun to remember what bike brand parts fit where. Surprised Simon could tell that Bell was not running well from his bike, and loved that he road the round-a-bout waiting for you. Glad you had a good time too Deimante.
on 11:56, I believe if the handle bar were around 4 inches / 10 centimetres higher, she would grab the handles and having her back in a more comfortable position. (I would fix it by raising the handle bar; not bringing it backward. Because I believe it's better;more stable, safer and joyful, when we "twist" instead of "swing" the handle bars to steer) But other than that: good work, guys and lady! Very good work indeed! My best regards from Brazil!
Really love that build! Especially the combination of the upside-down-frontend and the headlight. Another proof why Simon is my favorite Harley-customizer in Europe. Thanks for sharing!
Another awesome mint bike 👌 love the banded back wheel and I must say it looks even better in the flesh, it really stands out. Keep up the amazing work 👏 👌 👊
A real tidy bike, such clean lines and coherent minimal styling. Sure it will be fine once the engine tuning is sorted out (so frustrating stalling, thank goodness you didn't have to kick start it).
Thank's for another great video! 🤙 This is the best looking "Sportster" I have ever seen! Modern, simple, smooth riding, good brakes and kind of "long". Love the spoked wheels as well. After a tune up, it's going to run just as good as it look's. Amazing Simon. 😃🙌
Morris dance intro was tremendous fellas, slick hankie action - a blend of gracefulness and mosh pit... 😎🤘🤘 Mint Bell... WP Quality sussies and Brembo anchors got me keen from a mile away. The long low stance and perfect rake are awesome. Getting the tank so low is, line wise, killer. Big wheel front and long travel looking fork work great, stretches the whole thing out even more. I love the uncluttered narrow front 2/3 then the 200 section rear on that wheel is just right chunky wise, same as the seat. Bloody impressive Simon. Meilune on the shakedown run with zero freak outs about fuelling/runing teething problems was equally impressive. Cool and calm. Nice one Di. Need to ride it again when it's firing properly coz that's gonna be a hoot to ride and feel the WP and Brembo combo working. Was the wheel double banded Simon? 4 weld job? Banded outside the spokes, or one central band inside spokes and respoked to suit? Interesting that.
Cheers bud 👍 Was sooted plugs after lots of cold starts, my bad should have cleared its throat before D rode it. New plugs and a mixture set up this thing flies and handles. Yes double banded 4 welds, took me 3 hours to clean the inside of the wheel up s the tyre slipped on. Turned out great 👍 👌
@@MINTCUSTOM5 brilliant Simon. Glad the geometry all worked out and it's a buzz to ride. Be interesting to read the tyre wear and see how good the suspension can be adjusted with stock internals to get super sweet. My inner geek is thinking spring weights and valves and shims tweaking. Not ever a thought that comes to mind with a HD chop build. Bell is quite different for this reason too. Cool as. You taking it to Europe? Seems like the perfect tool for the job!
Have to agree with Simon about the "skinny" rear tires being the right combination. I've embarrassed a few sport-bike riders with my 2011 Road Glide Ultra going DOWN mountain passes in Colorado. I couldn't keep up with them on the way up, but it was funny that they couldn't keep up on the way down! 🤣
Hi Diamente! I notice that Simon always seems to be wearing Toxico clothing - caps, T-shirts, sweats etc. I'm a big Toxico fan myself - I've been buying their stuff since the early 90s. Why not take a trip to the Toxico workshop in London some time? I'm sure you'd fit right in - maybe you could even model for them! Apologies if you've already gone and done this, I can't find a way to search your older videos.
@@MINTCUSTOM5 Well, if you and Di can arrange a get-together, I'll dig out all my oldest Toxico gear - I guarantee I've got stuff dating back to the late 20th century ;-) My toolboxes are covered in Toxico stickers as well.
Bobbers are so cool. But they are so uncomfortable. And geez girl I had your hair when I was younger. Still blonde and long but not as cool as you now :). I cant get a bike for at least a year and I just keep aging. Ill be 54 this year. My goatee is white not red now damn. Least my hair will always be blonde lol. God that bike is beautiful. Wanted a bike since I was a child in the 70s..still no bike..takes money.

@@MINTCUSTOM5 well why dont you put it on? nothing to do with following fashion, its why theyre called guards to protect youre delicate rear, same goes for open primarys, , another stupid trend.
