Thanks for the feedback - they did email ahead of time to tell me that it would be on the lower side. Didn’t say why. There was super chargers on site and right next to the collection point. I still have some free super charger miles so it was fine.

Thanks for the feedback - front mud flaps are installed as standard and are quite deep compared to the M3. Our car did not come with the new parcel shelf but I also hear it will be standard from the upcoming German imports that has started now and the Shanghai cars. From what I’ve researched Tesla want to make their cars close to their local markets so we may soon only get cars from Germany.

Thanks for the feedback - I went for the standard auto pilot as I’m likely to change this model again soon for the performance version that I had originally wanted. It’s a great spec and I hope you are enjoying it too !

Thanks for the feedback - I ordered on the day orders opened for the Model Y at the end of last year. It was a 3 month period even with the switch from the performance model order to the model y.. with the model change I was still able to get all paperwork done and have the car by mid March

Thanks for your question. The choices between the different finance options really depends on your circumstances. The personal contract hire is a cheaper monthly in comparison with PCP but means you must stick with the full term as you are hiring the car versus purchase. In my opinion PCP works out slightly more on the monthly and longer term but does give you the flexibility to trade it in at any time regardless of the term you took out and pay of the balance versus the value of the trade in. Thanks for your feedback- there is ppf piece at the side rear to protect against stone chips and that is standard. The front mud flaps are installed as standard too.

Thanks for your feedback. I originally ordered the performance Y on the first day orders opened in the U.K. at the end of the year. I had a date for start of the year. That kept getting pushed out so I switched to Long range and within a few weeks the car was ready for collection in March. I would say the wait is around 3 months for Model Y. You are now more likely to get the car made in Berlin Germany.

@@fabuloustesladad9088 that was a good idea switching to the LR, you could also purchase the performance boost if you wanted to have an even quicker 0-60! Lol! I have placed an order just last week for a black long range with 20” wheels. My app says delivery between May-June …. But with the China factory shutdown im now conditioning myself into not expecting my delivery anytime soon lol. Can i ask did you buy FSD and if so is it really worth it? I only have basic autopilot as i am a terrible passenger even with a human at the controls lol i feel the standard cruise control would be enough. Great video and and i could feel your excitement, funny enough it popped up on my RU-vid feed the day after I selected to pick up my model Y from Bluewater… how weird?!

They have showrooms and service centres.. There’s a showroom in Bluewater (where he collected) inside the mall. They used to deliver in the Service centres, but with the amount of cars they are shipping there simply isn’t space to store and deliver them to customers in those tight timescales. You have to realise that Tesla delivers even 1,000 cars in the space of a week. Whereas other brands will have maybe 20 in the whole week at one particular showroom. Quite the difference if you ask me. Would one prefer a better experience? Of course, you used to get the experience when there was only Model S and X, once it became mainstream with the Model 3, it became too much too handle in a short time.
