Was with a friend who is, unfortunately, a Raiders fan at the Chiefs game and he was shocked with the roughing the passer call. Im all for trying to keep players safe but calls like that and the one against the Falcons is ruining the defensive side of football
When u got billions of dollars in the league and the Vegas spread, insider deals, bounty hunting, refs being threatened, etc the level of corruption in the game that is not in the public eye your going to see all kinds of mind boggling stuff that makes zero sense. Like going for 2 when u only need one point to tie the game and then lose. I was there last night. Lemme tell u, that shit was super fishy. Mahomes wasn't blitzed until the end of the game again unlike the 1st half because the chiefs were getting worked. The game is blatantly manipulated. It's just part of the gig man, there's way more going on behind the scenes than we ever thought that has major game changing outcomes. But with that being ignored still enjoy the game and it is what it is. These guys are getting paid a lot of money to do something they love. It's for entertainment afterall
Not just one of the loudest, Arrowhead is the loudest. They have the record. 142.2 decibels. That's as loud as a gunshot, except sustained for several minutes instead of an instant.
Both roughing the passer calls were bullshit, the rules protect the QB in the pocket to a ridiculous degree. Not penalizing the hit on Pickett was a good call, if he's not going to slide until the defender gets there he's going to get hit. It's a fine line, but that was a good hit.
Once Bradys helmet slams into the ground is when they called it. The pass rusher whipped his head intot he ground. I mean come on its Brady once his knees buckle hes going down lol
@@zoraplays1009 he fell on Carr with his body weight. Protection in the pocket. Different scenario different outcome I'm sure. Atleast they didn't use a index card this game.
I think part of the problem is that these QBs are sliding so late that these defenders are already starting to dive towards them when the QB starts their slide. Some of these hits are unavoidable and shouldn't be flagged. QBs need to start sliding earlier or get punished.
@@atreus4277 fr man it’s annoying like if your in a physical sport you should be able to take a hit…the chiefs player I thought had a clean hit on Derek car. He didn’t drive his helmet in his back or anything it was more his side than anything:
Once again, y'all don't pay attention. If Tua hadn't had that gruesome head injury, from the same whiplash from a tackle, that wouldn't be a penalty. But no, let's just hate Brady, not the fact that the NFL and NFLPA said that week, it would be a penalty anytime a QB goes down like that.
@@johnterell8642 it's absolutely ridiculous. That was not roughing the passer. How about quarterbacks grow up and you see it for what it really is, Tom Brady getting whatever he wants.
New rule right here and should be added and inforced. If the officating crew Start calling bogus penalties the coaches and owners should have a right to kick refrees out
@@Raven-dx8cy so does every other quarterback in the league and they still get a late hit call. Tom Brady got knocked over by a slight gust of wind and still got a flag for it.
I give Pickett credit for having guts but I really don't think that was a dirty hit. That's just old fashion football. How else are you supposed to sack a QB if your only chance to get him is by diving for his legs?
Honestly that was probably just Cheffers having it out for KC. He's made some seriously egregious calls against them, and it only got worse after Arrowhead booed him to the end of the half. The next KC game officiated by him, Juan Thornhill (KC safety) got called for illegal contact after HE got shoved to the ground by a Houston reciever.
Still can’t get over the fact that when some rookies safety is put at risk, the refs don’t care. But when Brady gets sacked, the refs bring him a gift basket and pillows
After watching the officiating this week, it's quite obvious that Vegas is running the show. The mob must be proud of the way they call the games for them.....
The first words out of the refs mouth in Buffalo vs Pitt is insane. I really don’t want to end up hating the nfl over referees. Pls I hope they don’t let them ruin this league.
It's just Adams showing his true colors. He would have never done this on the Packers because he knows they would immediately can his ass. The Raiders on the others hand. Dirtbag and criminal behavior is just in their team, and to extent their fan's, culture.
9:27 don’t know why the browns dude is pissed, that’s not a blindside block by any means. To have a blindside block you have to come from the side leading with anything but your hands extended into the shoulder or head/neck area with the one who gets blocked having no opportunity to brace for the hit or see the blocker coming. In this case, the block was in front and shoulder into the chest
