As a single 33-year-old, I really related to Joanne and Isaac, particularly in the internal work they've done and lessons they've learned through experience, as well as the shift in mindset in looking for a partner throughout their 20s and 30s. Both are very mature, eloquent and thoughtful speakers. Wishing them all the best!

I stumbled across this video and I loved it! I wish more men were as self-aware as Isaac. At the end of the day, everyone wants to be loved by someone special, but it's never something that can be forced.

Isaac is sooooo self aware and I totally relate with Joanne (cz girls 💅🏻) I'm 28 this year and I kid you not that all of my close friends in my super small circle either has a husband or a partner - but I've kinda made peace with it because honestly you can't just force some things and it will come naturally Here's to all of us single peeps 🙌🏼🥰

I feel that both Joanne and Isaac are nice people in general! I believe that if they continue to open their hearts, understands that no one is perfect and be honest with their feelings about love, they will find the one! Fighting! ❤🎉❤🎉

If you attend social events. Singapore has a lot of single people from 30-50 years old, not obvious when walking on the street

I'm reaching thirties and slowly giving up on finding someone and I agree, it's sad for me too. Despite everyone asking you to "value your singleness" I think there's a stigma for those who can't find a partner when they reach a certain age. People in relationships always say it's great being single but it's not like they know what we go through.

For women, it's got to do a lot with their looks, feminity...as better looking/more feminine women and those who are not overweight, will naturally attract more potential suitors. For guys, it's the ability to provide i.e. tied very much to his earning capacity or if he comes from a well to do family...this is pragmatic Singapore, unfortunately.

for guys it's all about looks, you don't want your wife to love your money only, recipe for disastrous marriage

Exactly. It sounds good but realistically, it's bad advice for women in general
