As a guy who worked in construction and couldn't stand most coworkers because of constant hard sexism (not even vague just raw full power sexism) I can definitely understand why women wouldn't want to be in the industry. I worked on construction on a few occasions (with friends and relatives, so the flirting wasn't an issue lol), and literally all the men were "no no don't lift that, it's bad for you" so I ended up mostly helping with the easy stuff and making coffee on the site. It is not misogyny (or however it's spelled) to say that if you want to get shit done that requires a lot of heavy physicality, your team will be a lot more efficient and productive if you hire people that are capable of that, which is mostly men. As a person with Autism, I can say by analyzing his speech patterns and body language, and communication problems, he might have the same. We obviously don't all end up like this guy, though. But the dude is extremely nice and extremely brave, among other positive attributes, and many men completely refuse to believe women even care about those things. I think if they did bother to acknowledge that many if not most women care more about positive personality traits than we do about money or looks, they would have to acknowledge that they themselves do not have such positive personality traits. Since they aren't trying to work on that, the only things they could possibly offer to a partner are money and looks, which they do not have either. So it's easier to blame women than to decide to self-improve.

Generally speaking a man's wealth, height and fitness are the main factors in masculine attractiveness not necessarily for the qualities themselves but what having those qualities says about you. Its more complicated in practice than on paper because a man doesn't really need to be wealthy; just stable and generous spirited. A man doesn't need to be tall, if he has a large presence. I had a guy at work, middle aged with the same entry level position for years. It was scanning documents. Nothing wrong with that, but when he went on about how men create everything, invent everything and he couldn't get a date, I asked him how when he can't get the photocopier to work, he always comes to me to fix it. Then I asked how a combustion engine works. The silence was deafening. The accomplishments of men are amazing, but to ride on the coattails of the accomplishments of others and then feeling entitled to dating and sex just because you share the same genitals isn't a flex, it's entitled and a turnoff. Dude, I have a friend who is an engineer and works in construction. The amount of times she has had to hear "this isn't a job for women" and has got her credentials diminished is astounding. She's an engineer but has had some people go out of their way to not call her that, while having no problem to do so for her male colleagues. It makes no sense.
