I love that one of his grabs is him slamming a door in the opponent’s face, he’s done that so many times in the show that it made it into his moveset 😂😂
Squidward is wonderfully animated and does a great job of showing the jump in quality between NASB 1& 2. I love the unique mechanics he has, he looks like he's gonna have some really wild combos!
I’m not sure if the me thing but I like that, you can charge strong attacks mostly because the strong moves felt too quick and didn’t mirror the actual time it took for them to do the things in the show but that’s probably just my OCD
He definitely will be one of the characters I’ll be trying out. He reminds me a little bit of Mr. game and watch from super smash Bros especially the way he does his moves. That’s amazing but that’s a whole Nother game but he’s super hard to be handsome Squidward that would make the most sense to me and maybe to a lot of others as well.

I love how the animations both reflect Squidward's character and show off the absurdist nature of Spongebob. Especially love how Squidward plays longer value notes the longer he charges, going from eight note to quarter to whole. The one move I'm iffy on is the pizza, feels more like a specific reference than a distinctly Squidward action. At the very least it's a really iconic Squidward moment, so I guess it's fine

What I love about this game is that it obviously capitalizes on the memes spawned by the characters, but are put into the movesets in a way that doesn't feel forced or unnatural attacks: They're attacks that just so happen to be based off memes. The taunts could showcase the more memorable side of the characters (Spongebob's chicken meme is a classic, but could've just been an idle animation), but yeah. It's an obvious jump in quality from the first game.
I really hope Mr Krabs being outside the ring doesn’t exclude him from being a fighter. Hope it’s a case like Street Fighter 4 where Hugo was in the background but you could still pick him.
His Super Attack being Handsome Squidward after getting hit by the shoe is AMAZING! I can't wait to see what the other characters' Super Attacks will be!
He feels like the Luigi of this game. Think about it, both of them have wonky confusing moves, have a really good combo game, and have that one annoying move that always seems to kill.

This is a cool look at him, though I don't get a great read on his intended archetype and weaknesses. He'll be fun to play for sure though! He was one of my most-wanted in NASB1 alongside Rocko, glad to finally have both!
Jesus Christ Squidward looks fucking amazing in asb2. It really captures his clarinet playing, his bold and brash painting as well as his other paintings, his tanning, his dance moves, his Krusty Krab pizza, and KRAKOTOA, he’s such a dominant air character the way he jumps, he can do double jump cancels, he has blind anger, the marble drop, his bike, and even handsome Squidward makes an appearance on his final form. God Squidward is such a deserving character for this game and they did not disappoint with his move set and how he acts. A big W to the creative team and for Squidward. Squidward main 🦑 ❤️
I couldn’t believe Squidward was the first character they announced. I wanted Squidward in the first game, now here’s his chance to show off Bold and Brash.
I cannot wait to play Squidward, all the references and how they play into his moveset is amazing. Looking forward to getting KOs with his iconic Bold & Brash painting!
I love to see squidward tentacles to play in nicks all star brawl 2, my favourite moments a spongebob tv show was moments when delivering pizza, also he travelled to the time machine with his favourite clarinet, and many more, so much memories for squidward best moments.

i love how squidward's animated. they really took advantage of his body to make him bend and move in all these obtuse and weird ways, yet at no point does he not just look like squidward
