While a whole load of new carbon plate racing shoes came out in 2020, Nike opted to leave the Vaporfly NEXT% as it was, settling for releasing new colours of the shoe while also launching the Alphafly NEXT%.
The Vaporfly has received a more comprehensive update in 2021, with the NEXT% 2 sporting an entirely new upper and coming in £30/$25 cheaper than its predecessor . In this video Run Testers Kieran and Nick talk through the changes to the shoe and whether the Vaporfly NEXT% 2 is an improvement on the original.
