Trevor has a screw loose but he isn't incapable mentally. Trevor is quite intelligent as shown when talking about LS port income. Eddie is a true mental psychopath, he's erratic, emotional, and schizophrenic. Niko telling him he isn't cool caused him to relapse into his darkest memories. Eddie truly shines as the most memorable RockStar "Strangers and Freaks" quest.
Creepy fact: If you disarm Eddie and he runs away, the game wont say "Eddie Low ran away" except it will say "Eddie Low is out there... Waiting" creepy, right?
@@keijijohnson9754 actually nevermind, I read in another comment that he will apparently randomly spawn and try to kill you if you're walking around in alderney. Don't know if it's true tho
@@Milo-xb3gj If he runs away and you lose him you just fail the encounter. If you roam around there again he'll be at the same place and the cutscene will play all over again.
calling him an animal is a little rich, you know coming from a character that "accidentally" drives on a pavement moving down pedestrians just to go bowling
Always noticed that as a kid haha. At least in this one he sorta pulls the guns from his jacket pocket or something. In gta San Andreas and stuff that gun just appears in dudes hand haha. If you look closely Cj always has his hand open for a gun with his trigger finger sticking out. So idk just funny i guess

It's actually pretty hard to fight someone who has a knife even if you have good hand to hand combat skills. The likelihood of not getting stabbed at all is pretty low. If you had a gun on you in that situation you absolutely should use it. I know it's just a video game but I'm just saying people have a lot of silly ideas about knife fights and underestimate just how difficult someone with a knife really is to deal with. @@JohnWall-lj1mx

When i did this mission i didnt have any guns so tried to run away from him but he kept chasing me , but suddenly a taxi driver bumped him amd Eddy got angry & tried to knife attack the taxi driver instead , it was noticed by cops and they try to arrest Eddy but he fights back with knife attacks and injures the cops , they call for more reinforcement and finally put him down after big gun fight , a fitting ending for him i would say
I actually remember the radio news reports on the crimes Eddie commits as I was playing the game. It clicked to me once I encountered him and recognized what he was talking about. I tried to disarm his knife, but for some reason couldn't get the timing right, so I just slowly took him down with the pistol.
There is a theory that mentions that Manhunt and the GTA saga are from the same universe, in a game radio Carcer City is mentioned. No doubt Eddie could be from that city. Of course, years later, thanks to GTA V, it was seen that Manhunt was a movie in the GTA universe.
Theyre 100% linked via easter eggs in multiple games going back to san andreas atleast or even vice city because Lionel starkweather was a "vinewood" producer gone crazy and turned the whole carcer city into a snuff movie with the help of corrupt officials. This dude either would have been with the Smileys, or the Innocentz if you check them out. Both groups had psycho perverts and satanists.
@@marcelomontero932 cancer city was a discarded location for gta iv tha map would be "liberty state" with apart from liberty city and alderney(maybe) it was also planned to have cancer city and a new place named The caraways, theres even a highway with countryside in some part of the files, i guess Rockstar discart this cause technical issues or being one of the first games to use the engine
Eddie is the only character aside from Darko who visibly disturbs Niko, who is probably the coldest and most dead inside GTA protagonist. Trevor would get pissed from a minor insult he says and kill him realistically.

Wish the digital version was cheaper bc I have them all on disc and my new console is the disc free version unfortunately. Also fun fact about gta 4 the disc version that has all 3 stories is selling for hundreds of dollars online

Eddie is by far a more interesting depiction of a psychotic murderer. The entire thing with trevor was that he was just this funny killer but eddie is genuinely uncomfortable to be around and listen to. I swear that they grabbed someone from a mental hospital in order to write this character
1:05 you can see the fear in nikos eyes, just shows how eddie is so mentally unstable and psychotic he managed frighten even niko with his behavior. Such a well written character.

Niko is actually more like a hired assassin rather than a serial killer. Niko has never murdered anyone because having a twisted sense of sexuality or morbid obsession and sadism.
Man this game was awesome I think the atmosphere of liberty city was unlike any other GTA. I get why some ppl didn’t like it bc the environment and story wasn’t as colorful as say GTA 5. But it had its own unique character
You know in any other circumstance Eddie would be terrifying, but because its niko who is a contact killer by trade lol who is there Eddie basically as a serial killer picked a fight with another serial killer who's more mentally calculated and trained. In other words, Eddie fucked with the wrong one and found out lol.
It's funny to see Niko's expression while Eddie confesses to his crimes, like we see from the story that Niko claims a dozen victims, but we know that none of them were innocent, but Niko, upon hearing Eddie confess, appears shocked. with so much cruelty
