You know watching this meme vid and also some stuff on 4u has made me realize something I really miss from pre-world mh. And that's the prerendered cutscenes. I think that was what originally drew me to mh in the first place. I can't remember any cutscenes in world or rise that weren't in engine and that's a shame because I can't help but feel like something of value was lost.
I mean, I wouldn't mind like that intro cutscene thing again of a team in action, but the visual fidelity really can't be topped anymore haha, that's just how powerful games are now
@@dilophoraptordouble pretty sure a pre-rendered cutscene like the old intro can still look better, while also be even more accurate to the game than ever.
@@MrElvenbrother Pre-rendered is of higher visual quality, but in-game cutscenes look good enough to act as a substitute. Additionally, in-engine intros will take up far less space than a pre-rendered video for each monster.
I would absolutely love it for the classics got remastered for switch. Playing the games in HD and with any touch ups hear and there to balance and other things would be great. I would like for the 1st to get on switch before 3U. If Dos gets on switch that would be the best thing! If they never do this it would be nice for some other content, like a mini-series. They could do a show/special that would portray "Five" the story of 5 wyverians hunting a lao when lung. Or if they put the soundtracks for all the games on all music apps.
I think all MHs on the 3DS looked better than the upscaled XX on the Switch. The HD conversion just emphasized how much these game are made for a smaller, more pixeleted screen
@@MA-go7ee Yeah, they would have to do more than upscaling. Making it more stylized or going in and altering the game would work. They could also do a collection of Demos as 1 game which would be interesting. Letting us get a taste instead of having the full game would mean they focus in on parts of the game. If they don't want to do either of those they could try to make MH6 more like the classic game, the franchise had enough familiarity and recognition that rolling things back shouldn't hurt too much. Plus there are so many people willing to help newcomers onto of the already impressive backlog of content. Seasons and underwater coming back would be so great, adding depth and even difficulty. With seasons they can focus on making the game a small scale personal story. We just love in the village or have been sent there by the guild and the story is just the passage of time. The campaign would take an in game year. The best way to have seasons would be to have a set amount of quest count for pushing time forward let's say 10, after that villagers would ask for you to help get ready for the next season. The player can say no/ignore and the current season would stay for a while. Eventually the player has to do a set of quests to change the season, all of them could be gathering quests or even deliveries as the village holds festivals and parties.
@@SuperRitz44 Thank you, I just think there is so much to do with MH. Now that we have 2 movies we aren't completely restricted to games in our understanding of the world that's been crafted and is still growing. The success of the series should hopefully lead Capcom to putting more into MH.
It’s a shame that I will never use the tonfas. The simple fact that they mentioned it here means they have no intentions on reworking the weapon to future titles. If there was gonna be one weapon I would love more than the insect glaive it’s the tonfas. And I have to play monster hunter frontier for that. I can’t play the game because it is not in English sub
Not that Pokémon scrap. Don't tell them, it will hurt business. They actually God monster riding. Imagine monster pets instead dogs. And you can use all of them. In 10 years I can expect this. I want a pet monster. At least in a temporary support manner. And baby forms can walk like doggo and kat
Me : Yes, finally a remake of MH3U 🤩 Also me : Wait a minute... 🤔 'Proceed to look when the video was posted and realise it's the first of April. Damn, you got me good. I hate you for giving the spark of hope for the few second when I saw that video 😠. But I also love you for making me laught so hard 🤣
So excited for this. That longsword XL will be perfect for giving other hunters a real challenge once again! Step aside- Master/G-Rank. Back to Tri- with a real challenge! Like for that "Flinch Free!" Stoked!
Tonfas in mainline, finally took long enough for the team to realize that's what monster hunter always needed. Now I wait for the magnet spike and accel axe
I got my hopes up but then I remembered the day. I forgot this is the day where you can’t get excited about anything because it’s a prank pretty convincing though
MonHun Tri was my first. I really didn't understand it. I would love a chance to play it again with the ultimate version, and knowing how monster hunter works now
I was looking for an answer as to why a picture for 3 ultimate was on the "Monster hunter franchise sale" on switch and found this on google...learning that this was an April fools prank and there was no reason for there to be a picture of 3U on their monster hunter sale for switch was a straight kick in the balls
OMG LOC LAC IS COMING BACK!!!!!! HOW FUCKING EPIC IS THAT!!!!!! Edit: and now i just realized seven hours later what today was (April fools) and that none of this is real…….. im going to go cry in a corner……. I really hate April fools day………
you got me bro. i just realized after searching for full video of Nintendo direct online tha it's been uploaded on April 1. I wish its not just a joke.
I wonder how many people will see the thumbnail and just assume it's real? The hardest part was hearing what they were saying and the "translation" not match up. Great vid. Thanks for the laughs. The Long Swors XL was the best part. "Enjoy the Hunting Life! G!!!" -Instructor
Dang, I was heartbroken that they took away my Bonk weapon, but I guess the replacement makes sense, I mean it is seriously long now. Nice one Ichinose
Honestly...I was super confused why nothing they said really matched the subtitles.... than I noticed this was not from nintendo's channal....well played...you got me
they've said that they want to do underwater combat again someday. the best way i can see them doing that with less work/risk and making people very happy is in 2 stages: stage 1 MH3 remaster, where they just have to do some updates to monsters not in 5th gen's RE engine yet along with minor map updates but that's less important but the big thing is rework underwater combat to be as much of a fluidity upgrade as MHW was. step 2 take in the feedback and use that to further optimize underwater combat for a future generation. since they've proven it's much easier to remake monsters in RE they'd just need a team to do the underwater rework, a few maps, and the few monsters from that game that aren't in 5th gen yet. leviathans were the biggest headache in MHW but Rise did them fine so they'd just need things like gobul and nibblesnarf asside from adjusting the necessary fights for the underwater rework. if any game is worth the effort to remaster it's MH3 for this test run since other games you can just add the monsters or clone a system or 2 like say the part trading in MH4 that let them have equipment without the monsters.
That feeling when something seems too good to be true... I took way too long for me to realize that today is April 1st. Well played, but also fu, Superrad 😂
